<p class='chinese'>希拉曼的兒子希拉曼成為首席法官──甘大安敦指揮凱虛庫門幫──希拉曼的僕人殺死凱虛庫門，甘大安敦一幫人逃入曠野。約主前五○年至四九年。</p>
<p class='english'>Helaman, the son of Helaman, becomes chief judge—Gadianton leads the band of Kishkumen—Helaman’s servant slays Kishkumen, and the Gadianton band flees into the wilderness. About 50–49 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 事情是這樣的，法官統治的第四十二年，摩羅乃哈再度在尼腓人和拉曼人之間建立了和平後，看啊，無人接下審判席，因此人民又為了誰該接下審判席起了紛爭。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And it came to pass in the forty and second year of the reign of the judges, after Moronihah had established again peace between the Nephites and the Lamanites, behold there was no one to fill the judgment-seat; therefore there began to be a contention again among the people concerning who should fill the judgment-seat.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 事情是這樣的，民意選派希拉曼的兒子希拉曼接下審判席。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And it came to pass that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng Helaman], who was the son of Helaman, was appointed to fill the judgment-seat, by the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng voice]of the people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 但是看啊，謀殺派賀藍的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/2/3a 凱虛庫門]又伺機殺害希拉曼；他有一幫人支持他，他們立約不讓任何人知道他的惡行。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> But behold, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng Kishkumen], who had murdered Pahoran, did lay wait to destroy Helaman also; and he was upheld by his band, who had entered into a covenant that no one should know his wickedness.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span> 有一個名叫<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/2/4a 甘大安敦]的人，極擅辭令和權術，行謀殺、搶劫的祕密工作，因此成為凱虛庫門一幫的首領。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> For there was one <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng Gadianton], who was exceedingly expert in many words, and also in his craft, to carry on the secret work of murder and of robbery; therefore he became the leader of the band of Kishkumen.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span> 他諂媚他們，也諂媚凱虛庫門，如果他們讓他登上審判席，他會使屬於他這一幫的人在人民中享有權力和權柄，因此凱虛庫門就企圖殺害希拉曼。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> Therefore he did <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng flatter] them, and also Kishkumen, that if they would place him in the judgment-seat he would grant unto those who belonged to his band that they should be placed in power and authority among the people; therefore Kishkumen sought to destroy Helaman.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 事情是這樣的，他要到審判席殺害希拉曼時，看啊，希拉曼有位僕人，曾在夜間外出，透過喬裝，探悉這一幫人暗殺希拉曼的計謀──</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And it came to pass as he went forth towards the judgment-seat to destroy Helaman, behold one of the servants of Helaman, having been out by night, and having obtained, through disguise, a knowledge of those plans which had been laid by this band to destroy Helaman—</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span> 事情是這樣的，他遇見凱虛庫門，就向他打一個暗號，因此凱虛庫門便向他表明來意，要求領他到審判席去謀殺希拉曼。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And it came to pass that he met Kishkumen, and he gave unto him a sign; therefore Kishkumen made known unto him the object of his desire, desiring that he would conduct him to the judgment-seat that he might murder Helaman.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 希拉曼的僕人明白了凱虛庫門的企圖，知道他的目的是謀殺，屬於他那一幫人的目的也是謀殺、搶劫和爭權（這就是他們的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/2/8a 密謀]和他們幫派的目的），希拉曼的僕人對凱虛庫門說：我們這就到審判席去吧！</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And when the servant of Helaman had known all the heart of Kishkumen, and how that it was his <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng object] to murder, and also that it was the object of all those who belonged to his band to murder, and to rob, and to gain power, (and this was their <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng secret]plan, and their combination) the servant of Helaman said unto Kishkumen: Let us go forth unto the judgment-seat.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 凱虛庫門因而興奮不已，以為計畫即可得逞；但是看啊，在前往審判席的途中，希拉曼的僕人便刺擊凱虛庫門，刺中他的心窩，他未哼一聲就倒地死了。僕人就跑去把他所看到、所聽到及所做的一切告訴希拉曼。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Now this did please Kishkumen exceedingly, for he did suppose that he should accomplish his design; but behold, the servant of Helaman, as they were going forth unto the judgment-seat, did stab Kishkumen even to the heart, that he fell dead without a groan. And he ran and told Helaman all the things which he had seen, and heard, and done.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span> 事情是這樣的，希拉曼便派人去捉拿這幫盜匪和祕密殺手，好把他們依法處死。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And it came to pass that Helaman did send forth to take this band of robbers and <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/hel/2?lang=eng secret] murderers, that they might be executed according to the law.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 但是看啊，甘大安敦發現凱虛庫門一去不返時，怕自己會被殺死，便令他的同黨跟著他，他們從祕密通道逃離那地，進入曠野；所以希拉曼派人捉拿他們時，他們已不知去向了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> But behold, when Gadianton had found that Kishkumen did not return he feared lest that he should be destroyed; therefore he caused that his band should follow him. And they took their flight out of the land, by a secret way, into the wilderness; and thus when Helaman sent forth to take them they could nowhere be found.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 更多關於甘大安敦的事，稍後再講。法官統治尼腓人的第四十二年就這樣結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And more of this Gadianton shall be spoken hereafter. And thus ended the forty and second year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi.</p>
