<p class='english'>The destruction of Assyria is a type of the destruction of the wicked at the Second Coming—Few people will be left after the Lord comes again—The remnant of Jacob will return in that day—Compare Isaiah 10. About 559–545 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span>  那些設立不義之命令的，和寫下他們所制定的惡法的有禍了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Wo] unto them that decree <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng unrighteous] decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> To turn away the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng poor] of my people, that <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng widows] may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span>  沒有我，他們必屈身在被擄的人之下，倒在被殺的人之下；雖然如此，祂的怒氣還未轉消，祂的手仍舊伸出。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng their] indignation.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span>  我要打發他<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 攻擊]偽善的國，命令他攻擊我所惱怒的人民，擄財掠物，將他們踐踏，像街上的爛泥一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> I will send him <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng against] a hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span>  然而他不是這樣的意思，他心也不這樣想；他心裡倒想毀滅、剪除不少的國。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> Howbeit he meaneth not so, neither doth his heart think so; but in his heart it is to destroy and cut off nations not a few.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span>  他說：我的臣僕豈不都是王嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> For he saith: Are not my <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng princes] altogether kings?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span>  迦勒挪豈不像迦基米施嗎？哈馬豈不像亞珥拔嗎？撒馬利亞豈不像大馬士革嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Is not <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Calno] as <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Carchemish]? Is not Hamath as Arpad? Is not Samaria as <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Damascus]?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span>  <sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 我]手已經建立偶像的國；這些國雕刻的偶像勝過耶路撒冷和撒馬利亞的偶像。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> As <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng my] hand hath founded the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span>  我怎樣待撒馬利亞和其中的偶像，豈不照樣待耶路撒冷和其中的偶像嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng idols], so do to Jerusalem and to her idols?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span>  因此事情將是這樣，主在錫安山和耶路撒冷成就祂一切工作的時候，我必罰<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 亞述]王<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 自大]的心所結的果，和他高傲眼目的榮耀。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Wherefore it shall come to pass that when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon Mount Zion and upon Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Assyria], and the glory of his high looks.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span>  因為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 他]說：我所成就的事，是靠我手的能力，和我的智慧；我是精明的人；我挪移人民的地界，搶奪他們的財寶，並且我像勇士，使居民降為卑。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> For <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng he] saith: By the strength of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng my] hand and by my wisdom I have done these things; for I am prudent; and I have moved the borders of the people, and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span>  我的手找到列國的財寶，好像人找到鳥窩；我也收得全地，好像人收集留下來的雀蛋；沒有動翅膀的，沒有張嘴的，也沒有鳴叫的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people; and as one gathereth eggs that are left have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span>  <sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 斧]，<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 豈可]向用斧砍木的自誇呢？鋸，豈可向用鋸的自大呢？好比棍掄起那舉棍的，好比杖不是木頭而舉起自己。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Shall the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng ax] boast itself against him that heweth therewith? Shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? As if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself as if it were no wood!</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span>  因此，主，萬軍之主，必使祂的肥壯人變為瘦弱；在<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 祂]的榮華之下，祂必燃起焚燒，如同火焚燒一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of Hosts, send among his fat ones, leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span>  以色列的光必如火，他的聖者必如火焰；在一日之間，將他的荊棘和蒺藜焚燒吞滅。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> And the light of Israel shall be for a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng fire], and his Holy One for a flame, and shall burn and shall devour his thorns and his briers in one day;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span>  又將他樹林和肥田的榮耀，連<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 靈魂]帶身體，全然燒盡；好像拿軍旗的昏過去一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field, both soul and body; and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span>  他林中<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 剩下]的樹必稀少，就是孩子也能寫其數。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> And the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng rest] of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child may write them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span>  事情將是這樣，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 那]日，以色列所剩下的，和<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 雅各]家所逃脫的，不再依靠那擊打他們的，卻要誠實依靠主以色列聖者。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng house] of Jacob, shall no more again <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng stay] upon him that smote them, but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span>  所<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 剩下]的，就是雅各家所剩下的，必歸回全能的神。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> The <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng remnant] shall return, yea, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span>  您的人民以色列雖如海沙，但他們剩下的有些必歸回；已定的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 滅絕]之事，必<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 充溢]著公義。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> For though thy people <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Israel] be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng return]; the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng consumption] decreed shall overflow with righteousness.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span>  因為主萬軍之神，在全地之中，必<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 成就]所定的滅絕之事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> For the Lord God of Hosts shall make a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng consumption], even determined in all the land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span>  所以主萬軍之神如此說：我住在錫安的百姓啊，不要怕亞述人；他必用棍擊打你，又照<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 埃及]的方式，舉杖攻擊你。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> Therefore, thus saith the Lord God of Hosts: O my people that dwellest in Zion, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng be] not afraid of the Assyrian; he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng manner]of Egypt.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span>  因為還有一點點時候，向你們發的義憤就要完畢，我的怒氣要向他們發作，使他們滅亡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> For yet a very little while, and the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng indignation] shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>26</span>  萬軍之主要揚起鞭來攻擊他，好像在俄立磐石那裡殺戮<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 米甸]人一樣；就像他的棍向海伸出，他要照埃及的方式，把棍舉起。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> And the Lord of Hosts shall <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng stir] up a scourge for him according to the slaughter of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Midian] at the rock of Oreb; and as his rod was upon the sea so shall he lift it up after the manner of<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Egypt].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span>  事情將是這樣，到那日，他的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 重擔]必離開你的肩頭，他的軛必離開你的頸項；那軛也必因<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 膏抹]的緣故毀壞。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> And it shall come to pass in that day that his <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng burden] shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng anointing].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span>  <sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 他]來到亞葉，經過米磯崙；在密抹安放輜重。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng He] is come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he hath laid up his carriages.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>29</span>  他們過了隘口；在迦巴紮營；拉瑪人戰兢；掃羅的基比亞人逃跑。</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>30</span>  迦琳的女子啊，要高聲呼喊；困苦的亞拿突啊，要讓萊煞人聽到。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>30</span> Lift up the voice, O daughter of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Gallim]; cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Anathoth].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>31</span>  瑪得米那人躲避，基柄的居民集合要逃遁。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>31</span> Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to flee.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>32</span>  那日他仍留在挪伯；揮手攻錫安女子的山，就是耶路撒冷的山。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>32</span> As yet shall he remain at <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng Nob] that day; he shall shake his hand against the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>33</span>  看啊，主，萬軍之主，以驚嚇砍去粗枝，身材<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=zho 高]的必被砍下，高傲的必降為卑。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>33</span> Behold, the Lord, the Lord of Hosts shall lop the bough with terror; and the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng high] ones of stature shall be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng hewn] down; and the<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/2-ne/20?lang=eng haughty] shall be humbled.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>34</span>  稠密的樹林，他要用鐵器砍下，黎巴嫩必被大能者伐倒。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>34</span> And he shall cut down the thickets of the forests with iron, and Lebanon shall fall by a mighty one.</p>
