<p class='english'>Plans are made for the people to escape from Lamanite bondage—The Lamanites are made drunk—The people escape, return to Zarahemla, and become subject to King Mosiah. About 121–120 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span>  事情是這樣的，艾蒙和林海王開始與人民商議如何救大家脫離束縛；他們把全體人民都集合起來；他們這麼做是為了聽取人民對此事的意見。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And now it came to pass that Ammon and king Limhi began to consult with the people how they should <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng deliver] themselves out of bondage; and even they did cause that all the people should gather themselves together; and this they did that they might have the voice of the people concerning the matter.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span>  事情是這樣的，除了帶著婦女和小孩，以及牲口和帳篷進入曠野以外，他們找不出其他的方法可以救大家脫離束縛；因為拉曼人那麼多，林海的人民不可能憑刀劍與他們作戰，而脫離束縛。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And it came to pass that they could find no way to deliver themselves out of bondage, except it were to take their women and children, and their flocks, and their herds, and their tents, and depart into the wilderness; for the Lamanites being so numerous, it was impossible for the people of Limhi to contend with them, thinking to deliver themselves out of bondage by the sword.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span>  事情是這樣的，基甸上前，站在國王面前說：王啊，我們與我們的弟兄拉曼人作戰時，您曾多次聽從我的意見。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> Now it came to pass that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng Gideon] went forth and stood before the king, and said unto him: Now O king, thou hast hitherto hearkened unto my words many times when we have been contending with our brethren, the Lamanites.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span>  現在王啊，假如您不覺得我是個無用的僕人，或者，假如您曾聽我一些意見，而且有些用處，希望您這次也聽我的意見，我願作您的僕人，救這人民脫離束縛。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> And now O king, if thou hast not found me to be an unprofitable servant, or if thou hast hitherto listened to my words in any degree, and they have been of service to thee, even so I desire that thou wouldst listen to my words at this time, and I will be thy servant and deliver this people out of bondage.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span>  國王准基甸說話。基甸便對他說：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> And the king granted unto him that he might speak. And Gideon said unto him:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span>  在城後邊，有一條後通道，穿過後牆。拉曼人，也就是拉曼人的哨兵，在晚上都喝醉了；所以我們發通告給全體人民，要他們把牲口聚集起來，趁夜把牠們趕到曠野裡去。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> Behold the back pass, through the back wall, on the back side of the city. The Lamanites, or the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng guards] of the Lamanites, by night are <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng drunken]; therefore let us send a proclamation among all this people that they gather together their flocks and herds, that they may drive them into the wilderness by night.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span>  我會照您的命令，最後一次向拉曼人繳納貢酒，他們必然喝醉；等他們喝醉睡著了，我們就可以通過他們營帳左方的祕道。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And I will go according to thy command and pay the last<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng tribute] of wine to the Lamanites, and they will be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng drunken]; and we will pass through the secret pass on the left of their camp when they are drunken and asleep.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span>  這樣我們就可以帶著我們的婦女和我們的小孩，以及我們的牲口離開，進入曠野；然後沿著夏隆地前進。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> Thus we will depart with our women and our children, our flocks, and our herds into the wilderness; and we will travel around the land of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng Shilom].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span>  事情是這樣的，國王聽從了基甸的意見。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And it came to pass that the king hearkened unto the words of Gideon.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span>  林海王命令他的人民把牲口聚集起來；他將貢酒納給拉曼人；他多送了一些酒去，作為獻禮；他們暢飲林海王送給他們的酒。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And king Limhi caused that his people should gather their flocks together; and he sent the tribute of wine to the Lamanites; and he also sent more wine, as a present unto them; and they did drink freely of the wine which king Limhi did send unto them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span>  事情是這樣的，林海王的人民趁夜帶著牲口離開，進入曠野，在曠野中繞著夏隆地而行，並在艾蒙和他弟兄的帶領下，朝柴雷罕拉地而去。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And it came to pass that the people of king Limhi did <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng depart]by night into the wilderness with their flocks and their herds, and they went round about the land of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng Shilom] in the wilderness, and bent their course towards the land of Zarahemla, being led by Ammon and his brethren.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span>  他們帶著所有能帶的金子、銀子、寶物以及糧食進入曠野；他們繼續行程。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And they had taken all their gold, and silver, and their precious things, which they could carry, and also their provisions with them, into the wilderness; and they pursued their journey.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span>  他們在曠野走了許多天，抵達柴雷罕拉地，加入摩賽亞的人民，並成為他的人民。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And after being many days in the wilderness they <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng arrived] in the land of Zarahemla, and joined Mosiah’s people, and became his subjects.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And it came to pass that Mosiah <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng received] them with joy; and he also received their <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng records], and also the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng records] which had been found by the people of Limhi.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span>  事情是這樣的，拉曼人發現林海的人民已於夜間離開那地，就派軍隊進入曠野追他們；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And now it came to pass when the Lamanites had found that the people of Limhi had departed out of the land by night, that they sent an <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/22?lang=eng army] into the wilderness to pursue them;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span>  追了兩天後，再也找不到他們的蹤跡，於是他們就迷失在曠野中。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And after they had pursued them two days, they could no longer follow their tracks; therefore they were lost in the wilderness.</p>
