<p class='english'>Shiblon and later Helaman take possession of the sacred records—Many Nephites travel to the land northward—Hagoth builds ships, which sail forth in the west sea—Moronihah defeats the Lamanites in battle. About 56–52 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 事情是這樣的，法官統治尼腓人的第三十六年初，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/1a 希伯隆]接管阿爾瑪交給希拉曼的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/1b 神聖]物件。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And it came to pass in the commencement of the thirty and sixth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi, that<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Shiblon] took possession of those <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng sacred] things which had been delivered unto Helaman by Alma.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 他是個正直的人，正直地行走在神前；他不斷努力行善，遵守主他的神的誡命；他的弟弟也如此。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And he was a just man, and he did walk uprightly before God; and he did observe to do good continually, to keep the commandments of the Lord his God; and also did his brother.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 事情是這樣的，摩羅乃也去世了。法官統治的第三十六年就這樣結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And it came to pass that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Moroni] died also. And thus ended the thirty and sixth year of the reign of the judges.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> And it came to pass that in the thirty and seventh year of the reign of the judges, there was a large company of men, even to the amount of five thousand and four hundred men, with their wives and their children, departed out of the land of Zarahemla into the land which was <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng northward].</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> And it came to pass that Hagoth, he being an <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng exceedingly]curious man, therefore he went forth and built him an exceedingly large ship, on the borders of the land <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Bountiful], by the land Desolation, and launched it forth into the west sea, by the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng narrow] neck which led into the land northward.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 看啊，許多尼腓人進了那船，帶著許多補給和許多婦女小孩出航；他們向北航行。第三十七年就這樣結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And behold, there were many of the Nephites who did enter therein and did sail forth with much provisions, and also many women and children; and they took their course northward. And thus ended the thirty and seventh year.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span> 第三十八年，這人又造了其他船隻。而第一艘船也回來了，有更多人進了那船；他們也帶了許多補給，再次前往北部地方。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And in the thirty and eighth year, this man built <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng other] ships. And the first ship did also return, and many more people did enter into it; and they also took much provisions, and set out again to the land northward.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 事情是這樣的，再也沒有他們的消息了。我們猜想他們可能淹死在海底。事情是這樣的，另外一艘船也出航了，到了什麼地方，我們不知道。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And it came to pass that they were never heard of more. And we suppose that they were drowned in the depths of the sea. And it came to pass that one other ship also did sail forth; and whither she did go we know not.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 事情是這樣的，這一年，有許多人進入<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/9a 北]部地方。第三十八年就這樣結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And it came to pass that in this year there were many people who went forth into the land <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng northward]. And thus ended the thirty and eighth year.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span> 事情是這樣的，法官統治的第三十九年，希伯隆也去世了，柯林安頓則乘船到北部地方，運送補給給到那地方去的人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And it came to pass in the thirty and ninth year of the reign of the judges, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Shiblon] died also, and Corianton had gone forth to the land northward in a ship, to carry forth provisions unto the people who had gone forth into that land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 因此希伯隆必須在死前把那些神聖物件交給<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/11a 希拉曼]的兒子，他名叫希拉曼，是以他父親之名命名的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> Therefore it became expedient for <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Shiblon] to confer those sacred things, before his death, upon the son of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Helaman], who was called <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Helaman], being called after the name of his father.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 現在看啊，希拉曼所保管的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/12a 鐫文]，除了阿爾瑪命令<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/12b 不得]透露的部分外，都寫了下來，傳達給全地的人類兒女。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Now behold, all those <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng engravings] which were in the possession of Helaman were written and sent forth among the children of men throughout all the land, save it were those parts which had been commanded by Alma should <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng not] go forth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 雖然如此，仍須保持這些東西的神聖，並一代一代<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/13a 傳下]去；因此，這一年，希伯隆在去世前把這些東西都交給了希拉曼。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> Nevertheless, these things were to be kept sacred, and<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng handed] down from one generation to another; therefore, in this year, they had been conferred upon Helaman, before the death of Shiblon.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 事情是這樣的，同一年，有一些叛離者到拉曼人那裡，再次激起他們對尼腓人的怒氣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And it came to pass also in this year that there were some dissenters who had gone forth unto the Lamanites; and they were<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng stirred] up again to anger against the Nephites.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 他們也在同一年帶了一支龐大的軍隊來攻打<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/63/15a 摩羅乃哈]的人民，也就是攻打摩羅乃哈的軍隊；他們在這場戰役中被打敗了，再次被逐回自己的土地，損失慘重。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And also in this same year they came down with a numerous army to war against the people of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/63?lang=eng Moronihah], or against the army of Moronihah, in the which they were beaten and driven back again to their own lands, suffering great loss.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 法官統治尼腓人的第三十九年就這樣結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And thus ended the thirty and ninth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi.</p>
