<p class='english'>Section 50</p>
<p class='chinese'>一八三一年五月，在俄亥俄，嘉德蘭，透過先知約瑟 • 斯密給予的啟示〔教會史，1:170–173〕。先知說有些長老們不了解地上所遍佈的不同的靈的顯示，本啟示是他特別就此事求問主後而獲得的答覆。所謂屬靈的現象，在教友中並不罕見，有些教友聲稱獲得異象和啟示。</p>
<p class='english'>Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Kirtland, Ohio, May 1831 (see History of the Church, 1:170–73). The Prophet states that some of the elders did not understand the manifestations of different spirits abroad in the earth and that this revelation was given in response to his special inquiry on the matter. So-called spiritual phenomena were not uncommon among the members, some of whom claimed to be receiving visions and revelations.</p>
<p class='chinese'>1–5，地上遍佈著許多虛假的靈；6–9，偽善者和那些被從教會剪除的人有禍了；10–14，長老要藉靈宣講福音；15–22，講道者和聽道者都必須被靈啟發；23–25，凡不啟發人的，就不是屬神的；26–28，忠信的人是萬物的擁有者；29–36，潔淨的人的祈禱會得到答覆；37–46，基督是好牧人，是以色列的磐石。</p>
<p class='english'>1–5, Many false spirits are abroad in the earth; 6–9, Wo unto the hypocrites and those who are cut off from the Church; 10–14, Elders are to preach the gospel by the Spirit; 15–22, Both preachers and hearers need to be enlightened by the Spirit; 23–25, That which doth not edify is not of God; 26–28, The faithful are possessors of all things; 29–36, The prayers of the purified are answered; 37–46, Christ is the Good Shepherd and the Stone of Israel.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 聽啊，我教會的長老們啊，傾聽活神的聲音；注意智慧的言語，那是按照你們意見一致地求問有關教會和地上遍佈的靈的事而賜給你們的。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> But blessed are they who are faithful and <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng endure], whether in life or in death, for they shall inherit eternal life.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> But the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng hypocrites] shall be detected and shall be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng cut] off, either in life or in death, even as I will; and wo unto them who are cut off from my church, for the same are overcome of the world.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Wherefore, let every man beware lest he do that which is not in truth and righteousness before me.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> To preach my gospel by the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng Spirit], even the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng Comforter] which was sent forth to teach the truth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 那麼你們接受了你們不能了解的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/15a 靈]，把那些靈當作屬神的；你們這樣做正當嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And then received ye <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng spirits] which ye could not understand, and received them to be of God; and in this are ye justified?</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> Verily I say unto you, he that is ordained of me and sent forth to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng preach] the word of truth by the Comforter, in the Spirit of truth, doth he <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng preach] it by the Spirit of truth or some other way?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 如果是藉別的方法，就不是屬神的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> And if it be by some other way it is not of God.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> And again, he that receiveth the word of truth, doth he receive it by the Spirit of truth or some other way?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 如果是別的方法，就不是屬神的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> If it be some other way it is not of God.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> Therefore, why is it that ye cannot understand and know, that he that receiveth the word by the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng Spirit] of truth receiveth it as it is preached by the Spirit of truth?</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> Wherefore, he that preacheth and he that receiveth, understand one another, and both are <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng edified] and <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng rejoice]together.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span> 凡不啟發人的，就不是屬神的，而是屬<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/23a 黑暗]的。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> He that is <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng ordained] of God and sent forth, the same is appointed to be the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng greatest], notwithstanding he is the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng least] and the <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng servant] of all.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span> 因此，他是萬物的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/27a 擁有]者；因為天上地下的萬物，和奉父的旨意透過其子耶穌基督而發出的生命和光、靈和<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/27b 能力]，都受他管轄。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> Wherefore, he is possessor of all things; for all things are<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng subject] unto him, both in heaven and on the earth, the life and the light, the Spirit and the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng power], sent forth by the will of the Father through Jesus Christ, his Son.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span> 但是人若不<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/28a 潔淨]並<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/28b 清除]一切罪，斷不能成為萬物的擁有者。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> And if ye are <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng purified] and cleansed from all <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng sin], ye shall <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng ask]whatsoever you will in the name of Jesus and it shall be done.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>31</span> 因此，事情將是這樣，你們若看到某種<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/31a 靈]的顯示，而你們不了解，也接受不到那靈，你們就要奉耶穌的名祈求父；如果祂沒有賜給你們那靈，你們就知道那不是屬神的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>31</span> Wherefore, it shall come to pass, that if you behold a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng spirit]manifested that you cannot understand, and you receive not that spirit, ye shall ask of the Father in the name of Jesus; and if he give not unto you that spirit, then you may know that it is not of God.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>33</span> 不要用<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/33a 毀謗]的話責備他，免得你們被其所勝，也不要<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/50/33b 自誇]或得意，免得你們被其抓住。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>33</span> Not with <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng railing] accusation, that ye be not overcome, neither with <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng boasting] nor rejoicing, lest you be seized therewith.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>34</span> 凡接受那來自神的，就讓他視之為來自神的，並讓他因神認為他配稱接受而快樂。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>34</span> He that receiveth of God, let him <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/50?lang=eng account] it of God; and let him rejoice that he is accounted of God worthy to receive.</p>
