<p class='english'>Section 60</p>
<p class='chinese'>一八三一年八月八日，在密蘇里，傑克森郡，透過先知約瑟 • 斯密給予的啟示〔教會史，1:201–202〕。這時被指定回東部的長老們想知道，他們該怎麼做，走哪一條路，該怎麼走。</p>
<p class='english'>Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, in Jackson County, Missouri, 8 August 1831 (see History of the Church,1:201–2). On this occasion the elders who had been appointed to return to the East desired to know how they should proceed and by what route and manner they should travel.</p>
<p class='chinese'>1–9，長老們要在惡人的會眾中宣講福音；10–14，他們不應虛度光陰，也不應埋藏才能；15–17，他們可以洗腳，作為不利那些拒絕福音者的見證。</p>
<p class='english'>1–9, The elders are to preach the gospel in the congregations of the wicked; 10–14, They should not idle away their time, nor bury their talents; 15–17, They may wash their feet as a testimony against those who reject the gospel.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 看啊，主這樣對祂教會中、要盡快回原來地方的長老們說：看啊，我很喜悅你們來到這裡；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> Behold, thus saith the Lord unto the elders of his church, who are to return speedily to the land from whence they came: Behold, it pleaseth me, that you have come up hither;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 但是我對有些人不太喜悅，因為他們不肯開<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/2a 口]，他們因<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/2b 懼怕]世人而<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/2c 隱藏]我給他們的才能。這樣的人有禍了，因為我的怒氣已對他們燃起。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> But with some I am not well pleased, for they will not open their <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng mouths], but they hide the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng talent] which I have given unto them, because of the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng fear] of man. Wo unto such, for mine <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng anger]is <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng kindled] against them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 事情將是這樣，如果他們不對我更加忠信，連他們有的都要<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/3a 奪去]。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And it shall come to pass, if they are not more faithful unto me, it shall be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng taken] away, even that which they have.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span> 因為我，主，統治上面諸天，也統治<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/4a 地]上萬軍，在我收集<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/4b 珠寶]的那天，全人類將知道是什麼顯示著神的力量。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> For I, the Lord, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng rule] in the heavens above, and among the<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng armies] of the earth; and in the day when I shall make up my<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng jewels], all men shall know what it is that bespeaketh the power of God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span> 但是，實在的，我要告訴你們有關你們重返來處之旅程。要按照你們認為好的方式建造或購買一艘船，那對我都沒關係，然後趕快啟程前往那叫聖路易的地方。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> But, verily, I will speak unto you concerning your journey unto the land from whence you came. Let there be a craft made, or bought, as <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng seemeth] you good, it mattereth not unto me, and take your journey speedily for the place which is called St. Louis.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 我僕人西德尼 • 雷格登、小約瑟 • 斯密和奧利佛 • 考德里要從那裡啟程前往辛辛那提；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And from thence let my servants, Sidney Rigdon, Joseph Smith, Jun., and Oliver Cowdery, take their journey for Cincinnati;</p>

For I am able to make you <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng holy], and your sins are <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng forgiven] you.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 其餘的人要兩個兩個從聖路易啟程，在惡人的會眾中講道，不要匆忙，直到回到原來的分會。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And let the residue take their journey from St. Louis, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng two] by two, and preach the word, not in haste, among the congregations of the wicked, until they return to the churches from whence they came.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 這一切都是為了各分會的好處；我就是為了這個目的而派遣他們的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And all this for the good of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng churches]; for this intent have I sent them.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And let my servant <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng Edward Partridge] impart of the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng money]which I have given him, a portion unto mine elders who are commanded to return;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 能還錢的，就透過代理人還，不能還的，就不用還了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And he that is able, let him return it by the way of the agent; and he that is not, of him it is not required.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And now I speak of the residue who are to come unto this land.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> Behold, they have been sent to preach my gospel among the congregations of the wicked; wherefore, I give unto them a commandment, thus: Thou shalt not <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng idle] away thy time, neither shalt thou bury thy <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng talent] that it may not be known.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 你來到錫安地，傳播我的話後，要趕快回去，在惡人的會眾中，不匆忙、不<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/14a 憤怒]，也不爭吵地傳播我的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And after thou hast come up unto the land of Zion, and hast proclaimed my word, thou shalt speedily return, proclaiming my word among the congregations of the wicked, not in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng haste], neither in <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng wrath] nor with <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng strife].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 對那些不接受你們的人，你們要跺下<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/60/15a 腳上]的塵土，但要在暗中，不要在他們面前，免得激怒他們；並且要洗腳，在審判的日子，作為不利他們的見證。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And shake off the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng dust] of thy feet against those who receive thee not, not in their presence, lest thou <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng provoke] them, but in secret; and <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/60?lang=eng wash] thy feet, as a testimony against them in the day of judgment.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 看啊，這對你們而言已經夠了，而且這也是差遣你們的那位的旨意。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> Behold, this is sufficient for you, and the will of him who hath sent you.</p>
