<p class='english'>Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet to the elders of the Church, at Kirtland, Ohio, 11 September 1831 (see History of the Church, 1:211–14). The Prophet was preparing to move to Hiram, Ohio, to renew his work on the translation of the Bible, which had been laid aside while he had been in Missouri. A company of brethren who had been commanded to journey to Zion (Missouri) was earnestly engaged in making preparations to leave in October. At this busy time, the revelation was received.</p>

<p class='english'>1–11, The Saints are commanded to forgive one another, lest there remain in them the greater sin; 12–22, The unrepentant are to be brought before the Church; 23–25, He that is tithed will not be burned at the Lord’s coming; 26–32, The Saints are warned against debt; 33–36, The rebellious will be cut off out of Zion; 37–40, The Church will judge the nations; 41–43, Zion will flourish.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 看啊，主，你們的神，這樣對你們說，你們這些我教會的長老啊，聆聽並聽著，接受我對你們的旨意。</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 凡不悔改他的罪又不認罪的，你們要帶他到<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/12a 教會]前，按照經文給你們的誡命或啟示處置他。</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 我實在說，為了這緣故，你們應當做這些事。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> For after today cometh the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng burning]—this is speaking after the manner of the Lord—for verily I say, tomorrow all the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng proud]and they that do wickedly shall be as <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng stubble]; and I will burn them up, for I am the Lord of Hosts; and I will not <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng spare] any that remain in <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng Babylon].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span> 因此，你們若相信我，你們就會在所謂的今日，努力工作。</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span> 但是看啊，任何時候律法都沒有說，主不該任憑祂的意思收取，和按照祂認為好的方式支付。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> But behold, it is not said at any time that the Lord should not take when he please, and pay as seemeth him good.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> Wherefore, as ye are agents, ye are on the Lord’s errand; and whatever ye do according to the will of the Lord is the Lord’s business.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>34</span> 看啊，主<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/34a 要人]的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/34b 心]和甘願的意念；甘願而<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/34c 服從]的人，在末世時代將吃錫安地上的美味。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>34</span> Behold, the Lord <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng requireth] the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng heart] and a <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng willing] mind; and the willing and <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng obedient] shall <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng eat] the good of the land of Zion in these last days.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>35</span> <sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/35a 背叛]的人將從錫安地<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/35b 剪除]和遣離，不得繼承土地。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>35</span> And the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng rebellious] shall be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng cut] off out of the land of Zion, and shall be sent away, and shall not inherit the land.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>36</span> For, verily I say that the rebellious are not of the blood of<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng Ephraim], wherefore they shall be plucked out.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>37</span> 看啊，我，主，已在此末世，使我的教會像坐在山上或高處的法官那樣，來審判各國。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>37</span> Behold, I, the Lord, have made my church in these last days like unto a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng judge] sitting on a hill, or in a high place, to <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng judge] the nations.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>39</span> And <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng liars] and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who are <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng not] <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng apostles] and prophets shall be <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng known].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>40</span> 即使身為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/40a 法官]的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/40b 主教]，以及他的副主教，若不忠於他們的<sup class='chineseSup'>c</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/40c 管家職務]，也要被定罪，而且會安置<sup class='chineseSup'>d</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/40d 別人] 替代他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>40</span> And even the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng bishop], who is a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng judge], and his counselors, if they are not faithful in their <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng stewardships] shall be condemned, and <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng others] shall be planted in their <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng stead].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>41</span> 因為，看啊，我告訴你們，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/41a 錫安]將繁榮，主的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/41b 榮耀]將在其上；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>41</span> For, behold, I say unto you that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng Zion] shall flourish, and the<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng glory] of the Lord shall be upon her;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>42</span> 她將成為人民的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/64/42a 旌旗]，天下各國都要來到錫安。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>43</span> And the day shall come when the nations of the earth shall<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/64?lang=eng tremble] because of her, and shall fear because of her terrible ones. The Lord hath spoken it. Amen.</p>
