<p class='chinese'>一八三二年四月三十日，於密蘇里，獨立城，透過先知約瑟 • 斯密給予的啟示〔教會史，1:269–270〕。先知與弟兄們舉行議會時，獲得本啟示。</p>
<p class='english'>Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Independence, Missouri, 30 April 1832 (see History of the Church, 1:269–70). This revelation was received as the Prophet sat in council with his brethren.</p>
<p class='chinese'>1–4，婦女和小孩有權要求丈夫和父親供養；5–6，寡婦和孤兒有權要求教會供養。</p>
<p class='english'>1–4, Women and children have claim upon their husbands and fathers for their support; 5–6, Widows and orphans have claim upon the Church for their support.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 主實在這樣說，教會有關婦女和孩子的律法要加上那些屬於教會，而<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/83/1a 失去]了丈夫或父親的婦女和孩子：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> Verily, thus saith the Lord, in addition to the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng laws] of the church concerning women and children, those who belong to the church, who have <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng lost] their husbands or fathers:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 婦女<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/83/2a 有權]要求丈夫撫養，直到丈夫被取走；她們若沒有犯罪，在教會中就有教友的身分。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng Women] have <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng claim] on their husbands for their maintenance, until their <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng husbands] are taken; and if they are not found transgressors they shall have fellowship in the church.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 她們若不忠信，在教會中就沒有教友身分；但是她們仍然可以按當地法律，留在她們的繼承產業上。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And if they are not faithful they shall not have fellowship in the church; yet they may remain upon their inheritances according to the laws of the land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span> 所有的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/83/4a 小孩]都有權要求父母撫養，直到法定年齡。</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> And after that, they have <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng claim] upon the church, or in other words upon the Lord’s <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng storehouse], if their parents have not wherewith to give them inheritances.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 而倉庫要由教友的獻納來維持；<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/83/6a 寡婦]和孤兒應該得到供養，<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/83/6b 窮人]也一樣。阿們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And the storehouse shall be kept by the consecrations of the church; and <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng widows] and orphans shall be provided for, as also the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/83?lang=eng poor].
