<p class='chinese'>一八三三年十月十二日，在紐約，培瑞斯堡，給予先知約瑟 • 斯密和西德尼 • 雷格登的啟示〔教會史，1:416，419–421〕。這兩位弟兄已離家很多天，心裡有些掛念家人。</p>
<p class='english'>Revelation given to Joseph Smith the Prophet and Sidney Rigdon, at Perrysburg, New York, 12 October 1833 (see History of the Church, 1:416, 419–21). The two brethren, having been absent from their families for several days, felt some concern about them.</p>
<p class='chinese'>1–4，約瑟和西德尼為靈魂的救恩傳福音；5–8，就在那時候，會賜給他們當說的話；9–12，西德尼要作發言人，約瑟要作啟示者。並且他的見證有力；13–17，主會興起一群純潔的人民，服從的人會得救。</p>
<p class='english'>1–4, Joseph and Sidney to preach the gospel for the salvation of souls; 5–8, It will be given them in the very hour what they should say; 9–12, Sidney is to be a spokesman and Joseph is to be a revelator and mighty in testimony; 13–17, The Lord will raise up a pure people, and the obedient will be saved.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> Verily, thus saith the Lord unto you, my friends Sidney and Joseph, your families are well; they are in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng mine] hands, and I will do with them as seemeth me good; for in me there is all power.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 所以，跟隨我，聽從我給你們的勸告。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> Therefore, follow me, and listen to the counsel which I shall give unto you.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 看啊，看，我有很多人民在這地方、在附近地區；在這東部土地上的附近地區，一扇有效的門將被打開。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> Behold, and lo, I have much people in this place, in the regions round about; and an effectual door shall be opened in the regions round about in this eastern land.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng speak] the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng confounded] before men;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 就在那時候，是的，就在那時刻，必<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/6a 給]你們當說的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> For it shall be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng given] you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> But a commandment I give unto you, that ye shall declare whatsoever thing ye <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng declare] in my name, in solemnity of heart, in the spirit of meekness, in all things.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 我給你們這應許，只要你們這樣做，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/8a 聖靈]必澆灌下來，為你們所說的所有的事作見證。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And I give unto you this promise, that inasmuch as ye do this the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng Holy Ghost] shall be shed forth in bearing record unto all things whatsoever ye shall say.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And it is expedient in me that you, my servant Sidney, should be a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng spokesman] unto this people; yea, verily, I will ordain you unto this calling, even to be a spokesman unto my servant Joseph.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 我要給你能力，使你講解一切經文都很<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/11a 有]力，好使你能作他的發言人，而他要作你的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/11b 啟示者]，好使你知道一切有關我地上國度的事是真實的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And I will give unto thee power to be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng mighty] in expounding all scriptures, that thou mayest be a spokesman unto him, and he shall be a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng revelator] unto thee, that thou mayest know the certainty of all things <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng pertaining] to the things of my kingdom on the earth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 所以，繼續你們的旅程，心裡要喜樂；看啊，看，我與你們同在，一直到底。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Therefore, continue your journey and let your hearts rejoice; for behold, and lo, I am with you even unto the end.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 你們的弟兄，即我僕人<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/14a 奧申] • 海德和約翰 • 哥德，在我手中；只要他們遵守我的誡命，他們就必得救。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> Thy brethren, my servants Orson Hyde and John Gould, are in my hands; and inasmuch as they keep my commandments they shall be saved.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 所以，你們安心吧；<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/15a 萬事]都必為正直行走的人共同效力，叫他們得益處，並使教會聖化。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Therefore, let your hearts be comforted; for <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng all] things shall work together for good to them that walk uprightly, and to the sanctification of the church.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 我會為我自己興起一群<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/100/16a 純潔]的人民，他們會在正義中事奉我；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> For I will raise up unto myself a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/100?lang=eng pure] people, that will serve me in righteousness;</p>
