<p class='chinese'>摩羅乃奉命把雅列的哥哥寫的紀錄封起來──世人未像雅列的哥哥那樣有信心以前，那些紀錄不會公開──基督命令世人相信祂的話和祂門徒的話──祂命令世人悔改、相信福音並得救。</p>
<p class='english'>Moroni is commanded to seal up the writings of the brother of Jared—They will not be revealed until men have faith even as the brother of Jared—Christ commands men to believe his words and those of his disciples—Men are commanded to repent, believe the gospel, and be saved.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And the Lord commanded the brother of Jared to go down out of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng mount] from the presence of the Lord, and <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng write] the things which he had seen; and they were forbidden to come unto the children of men <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng until] after that he should be lifted up upon the cross; and for this cause did king Mosiah keep them, that they should not come unto the world until after Christ should show himself unto his people.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And after Christ truly had showed himself unto his people he commanded that they should be made manifest.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And now, after that, they have all dwindled in unbelief; and there is <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng none] save it be the Lamanites, and they have rejected the gospel of Christ; therefore I am commanded that I should <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng hide]them up again in the earth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span>  看啊，我已將雅列的哥哥確實看到的事記在頁片上了；過去顯示的事情中，沒有比向雅列的哥哥顯示的事更偉大的了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> Behold, I have written upon these plates the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng very] things which the brother of Jared saw; and there never were <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng greater] things made manifest than those which were made manifest unto the brother of Jared.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> Wherefore the Lord hath commanded me to write them; and I have written them. And he commanded me that I should <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng seal]them up; and he also hath commanded that I should seal up the interpretation thereof; wherefore I have sealed up the<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng interpreters], according to the commandment of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span>  因為主對我說：直到外邦人悔改他們的罪，並在主前成為潔淨那天，這些事不可以傳給他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> For the Lord said unto me: They shall not go forth unto the Gentiles until the day that they shall repent of their iniquity, and become clean before the Lord.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And in that day that they shall exercise <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng faith] in me, saith the Lord, even as the brother of Jared did, that they may become<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng sanctified] in me, then will I <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng manifest] unto them the things which the brother of Jared saw, even to the unfolding unto them all my<sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng revelations], saith Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng Father] of the heavens and of the earth, and all things that in them are.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And he that will <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng contend] against the word of the Lord, let him be accursed; and he that shall <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng deny] these things, let him be accursed; for unto them will I show <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng no] greater things, saith Jesus Christ; for I am he who speaketh.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span>  諸天聽我的命令開<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 閉]；<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 地]應我的話震動；地上的居民因我的命令消逝，如遭火焚。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And at my command the heavens are opened and are <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng shut]; and at my word the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng earth] shall shake; and at my command the inhabitants thereof shall pass away, even so as by fire.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span>  凡不相信我話的，也不相信我的門徒；那些話是不是我說的，你們自己判斷，因為在<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 末日]，你們就知道說話的人就是我。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And he that believeth not my words believeth not my disciples; and if it so be that I do not speak, judge ye; for ye shall know that it is I that speaketh, at the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng last] day.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> But he that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng believeth] these things which I have spoken, him will I visit with the manifestations of my Spirit, and he shall <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng know]and bear record. For because of my Spirit he shall <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng know] that these things are <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng true]; for it persuadeth men to do good.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span>  任何勸人行善的事都是屬於我的；因為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 良善]除了出自我之外，不會出自別處，我就是引導世人到一切良善的那位。凡<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 不]相信我話的，就不相信我──不相信我存在；而不相信我的，也不會相信差我來的父。因為看啊，我是父，是<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 光]和<sup class='chineseSup'>ｄ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 生命]，也是世上的真理。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do good is of me; for<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng good] cometh of none save it be of me. I am the same that leadeth men to all good; he that will <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng not] believe my words will not believe me—that I am; and he that will not believe me will not believe the Father who sent me. For behold, I am the Father, I am the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng light], and the <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng life], and the <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng truth] of the world.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span>  外邦人啊，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 歸向]我，我要向你們顯示更偉大的事，顯示因不信而隱藏起來的知識。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng Come] unto me, O ye Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is hid up because of unbelief.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span>  你們以色列家族啊，歸向我，父從世界奠基時就為你們預留的何等偉大的事，必向你們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 顯示]；這事尚未臨到你們，是因為不信的緣故。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be made<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng manifest] unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of unbelief.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng hid] up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng call] upon the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your fathers, O house of Israel.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And then shall my <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng revelations] which I have caused to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the people. Remember, when ye see these things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest in very deed.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> Therefore, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng repent] all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and believe in my gospel, and be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng baptized] in my name; for he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned; and <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng signs] shall follow them that believe in my name.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span>  到末日被判定<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 忠於]我名的有福了，因為他必被高舉，住在<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=zho 從]世界奠基時就為他預備的國度裡。看啊，說這話的是我。阿們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> And blessed is he that is found <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng faithful] unto my name at the last day, for he shall be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng lifted] up to dwell in the kingdom prepared for him <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/ether/4?lang=eng from] the foundation of the world. And behold it is I that hath spoken it. Amen.</p>
