<p class='english'>Chapter 14</p>
<p class='chinese'>撒母耳預言基督降生時，夜間有光和一顆新星──基督救贖世人脫離屬世及屬靈的死亡──祂死亡的徵兆包括三天黑暗、岩石崩裂、自然界大變動等。約主前六年。</p>
<p class='english'>Samuel predicts light during the night and a new star at Christ’s birth—Christ redeems men from temporal and spiritual death—The signs of his death include three days of darkness, the rending of the rocks, and great upheavals of nature. About 6 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 事情是這樣的，拉曼人<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/1a 撒母耳]還預言了許許多多不能記載的事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And now it came to pass that Samuel, the Lamanite, did prophesy a great many more things which cannot be written.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 看啊，他對他們說：看啊，我給你們一個徵兆，再過五年，看啊，那時神的兒子就要來臨，救贖所有相信祂名的人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And behold, he said unto them: Behold, I give unto you a sign; for five years more cometh, and behold, then cometh the Son of God to redeem all those who shall believe on his name.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 看啊，我給你們祂來臨的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/3a 徵兆]；因為看啊，那時天上有強光，所以祂來臨前的那個夜晚沒有黑暗，世人看來就像白天一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> And behold, this will I give unto you for a sign at the time of his coming; for behold, there shall be great lights in heaven, insomuch that in the night before he cometh there shall be no darkness, insomuch that it shall appear unto man as if it was day.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span> 因此，那時一個白天、一個夜晚和一個白天會像一個白天一樣，沒有夜晚；這就是給你們的徵兆；因為你們將知道日出和日落；所以你們可確知那是兩個白天和一個夜晚，但那是沒有黑暗的夜晚；這就是<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/4a 祂]誕生前的那一個夜晚。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> Therefore, there shall be one day and a night and a day, as if it were one day and there were no night; and this shall be unto you for a sign; for ye shall know of the rising of the sun and also of its setting; therefore they shall know of a surety that there shall be two days and a night; nevertheless the night shall not be darkened; and it shall be the night before he is born.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span> 看啊，將有一顆新<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/5a 星]出現，這樣的一顆星你們從未見過；這也是給你們的一個徵兆。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 看啊，不僅如此，天上還會有許多徵兆和奇事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And behold this is not all, there shall be many signs and wonders in heaven.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And it shall come to pass that ye shall all be amazed, and wonder, insomuch that ye shall fall to the earth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 事情將是這樣，凡<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/8a 相信]神的兒子的，必得永生。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And it shall come to pass that whosoever shall believe on the Son of God, the same shall have everlasting life.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 看啊，主藉著祂的天使命令我來將這事告訴你們；是的，祂命令我向你們預言這些事；是的，祂對我說：向這人民高呼悔改並預備主的道。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And behold, thus hath the Lord commanded me, by his angel, that I should come and tell this thing unto you; yea, he hath commanded that I should prophesy these things unto you; yea, he hath said unto me: Cry unto this people, repent and prepare the way of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span> 因為我是拉曼人，向你們講了主命令我講的話，又因忠言逆耳，你們就惱怒我，企圖毀滅我，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/10a 把]我趕出來。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And now, because I am a Lamanite, and have spoken unto you the words which the Lord hath commanded me, and because it was hard against you, ye are angry with me and do seek to destroy me, and have cast me out from among you.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 你們一定會聽到我的話，這就是我登上這座城牆的目的，好使你們聽見並知道，因你們的罪惡，神的懲罰正等著你們，也讓你們知道悔改的條件。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And ye shall hear my words, for, for this intent have I come up upon the walls of this city, that ye might hear and know of the judgments of God which do await you because of your iniquities, and also that ye might know the conditions of repentance;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 也要讓你們知道，神的兒子，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/12a 天地]之父，從開始以來萬物的創造主耶穌基督的來臨；讓你們知道祂來臨的徵兆，目的是使你們相信祂的名。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And also that ye might know of the coming of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Father of heaven and of earth, the Creator of all things from the beginning; and that ye might know of the signs of his coming, to the intent that ye might believe on his name.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 如果你們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/13a 相信]祂的名，就會悔改你們所有的罪，這樣你們就得以靠祂的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/13b 功勞]獲得罪的赦免。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And if ye believe on his name ye will repent of all your sins, that thereby ye may have a remission of them through his merits.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 看啊，我再給你們另一個徵兆，是的，一個有關祂死亡的徵兆。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And behold, again, another sign I give unto you, yea, a sign of his death.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 因為看啊，祂必須死亡，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/15a 救恩]才能來到；是的，祂有必要、也必須死亡，以促成死人的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/15b 復活]，並藉此把世人帶到主的面前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> For behold, he surely must die that salvation may come; yea, it behooveth him and becometh expedient that he dieth, to bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, that thereby men may be brought into the presence of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 是的，看啊，這死亡促成復活，並<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/16a 救贖]全人類脫離第一次死亡──即屬靈的死亡；由於<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/16b 亞當]的墜落，全人類已被<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/16c 剪除]，與主隔絕，無論在屬世或屬靈的事上，都視同<sup class='chineseSup'>ｄ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/16d 死亡]。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> Yea, behold, this death bringeth to pass the resurrection, and redeemeth all mankind from the first death—that spiritual death; for all mankind, by the fall of Adam being cut off from the presence of the Lord, are considered as dead, both as to things temporal and to things spiritual.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span> 但是看啊，基督的復活要<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/17a 救贖]人類，是的，即全人類，並帶他們回到主面前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> But behold, the resurrection of Christ redeemeth mankind, yea, even all mankind, and bringeth them back into the presence of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 是的，復活也使悔改的條件生效，凡悔改的不致被砍下來丟在火裡；但不悔改的必被砍下來丟在火裡；他會再度遭受屬靈的死亡，是的，即第二次死亡，因為他們再次被剪除，與和正義有關的事隔絕。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> Yea, and it bringeth to pass the condition of repentance, that whosoever repenteth the same is not hewn down and cast into the fire; but whosoever repenteth not is hewn down and cast into the fire; and there cometh upon them again a spiritual death, yea, a second death, for they are cut off again as to things pertaining to righteousness.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span> 因此，你們要悔改，你們要悔改，以免你們知道這些事而不去做，使自己被定罪，被帶向第二次死亡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> Therefore repent ye, repent ye, lest by knowing these things and not doing them ye shall suffer yourselves to come under condemnation, and ye are brought down unto this second death.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 但是看啊，至於我告訴你們的另一個<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/20a 徵兆]，祂死亡的徵兆，看啊，祂死亡那天，日頭要<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/20b 變黑]，不向你們發光；月亮和眾星也一樣；從祂死亡時起，到祂從死裡復活為止，<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/20c 三]天的時間，這地面上沒有亮光。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> But behold, as I said unto you concerning another sign, a sign of his death, behold, in that day that he shall suffer death the sun shall be darkened and refuse to give his light unto you; and also the moon and the stars; and there shall be no light upon the face of this land, even from the time that he shall suffer death, for the space of three days, to the time that he shall rise again from the dead.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span> 是的，祂斷氣時，必有<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/21a 雷鳴]、閃電，持續許多時辰；大地必搖撼、震動；還有這地面上的岩石，不論是地上或地下的，你們目前知道是堅硬的，或大部分是堅硬整塊的岩石，都必<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/21b 崩裂]；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> Yea, at the time that he shall yield up the ghost there shall be thunderings and lightnings for the space of many hours, and the earth shall shake and tremble; and the rocks which are upon the face of this earth, which are both above the earth and beneath, which ye know at this time are solid, or the more part of it is one solid mass, shall be broken up;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span> 是的，那些岩石都要裂成兩半，在整個地面上，是的，不論是地上或地下，都必不斷<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/22a 發現]有裂縫、有缺口和裂成碎片的石塊。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> Yea, they shall be rent in twain, and shall ever after be found in seams and in cracks, and in broken fragments upon the face of the whole earth, yea, both above the earth and beneath.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span> 看啊，也必有大風暴，許多山嶽要夷為低地，像山谷一樣，而許多今日稱為山谷的地帶，卻要形成巍峨的高山。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> And behold, there shall be great tempests, and there shall be many mountains laid low, like unto a valley, and there shall be many places which are now called valleys which shall become mountains, whose height is great.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span> 許多大路要崩裂，許多<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/24a 城市]要成為荒蕪。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> And many highways shall be broken up, and many cities shall become desolate.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span> 許多<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/25a 墳墓]要打開，交出許多死者；許多聖徒要向許多人顯現。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> And many graves shall be opened, and shall yield up many of their dead; and many saints shall appear unto many.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>26</span> 看啊，這就是<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/26a 天使]對我說的；他告訴我閃電和雷鳴將持續許多時辰。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> And behold, thus hath the angel spoken unto me; for he said unto me that there should be thunderings and lightnings for the space of many hours.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span> 他告訴我，當閃電、雷鳴、風暴交加，當這些事情發生時，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/27a 黑暗]必籠罩整個地面三天之久。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> And he said unto me that while the thunder and the lightning lasted, and the tempest, that these things should be, and that darkness should cover the face of the whole earth for the space of three days.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span> 天使告訴我，許多人將見到比這更奇妙的事，目的是使他們相信<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/28a 這些]徵兆和奇事將發生在這整個地面上，也讓人類兒女沒有任何不信的理由──</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> And the angel said unto me that many shall see greater things than these, to the intent that they might believe that these signs and these wonders should come to pass upon all the face of this land, to the intent that there should be no cause for unbelief among the children of men—</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>29</span> 這都是為了使相信的人能得救，使不信的人，接受正義的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/29a 審判]；而且，若他們被定罪，那是他們咎由自取。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> And this to the intent that whosoever will believe might be saved, and that whosoever will not believe, a righteous judgment might come upon them; and also if they are condemned they bring upon themselves their own condemnation.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>30</span> 現在，我的弟兄們，記住！記住！凡滅亡的，是他自取滅亡；凡犯罪的，是他自作自受；因為看啊，你們是<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/30a 自由]的；神已容許你們自己採取行動；祂已賜給你們<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/30b 知識]，也讓你們自由。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>30</span> And now remember, remember, my brethren, that whosoever perisheth, perisheth unto himself; and whosoever doeth iniquity, doeth it unto himself; for behold, ye are free; ye are permitted to act for yourselves; for behold, God hath given unto you a knowledge and he hath made you free.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>31</span> 祂已讓你們能<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/31a 分辨]善惡，也讓你們能<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/31b 選擇]生命或死亡；你們可以行善而<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/hel/14/31c 回復]為善，換言之，使善回復給你們；你們也可以作惡，而使惡回復給你們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>31</span> He hath given unto you that ye might know good from evil, and he hath given unto you that ye might choose life or death; and ye can do good and be restored unto that which is good, or have that which is good restored unto you; or ye can do evil, and have that which is evil restored unto you.</p>
