<p class='english'>King Noah rules in wickedness—He revels in riotous living with his wives and concubines—Abinadi prophesies that the people will be taken into bondage—His life is sought by King Noah. About 160–150 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span>  事情是這樣的，曾倪夫把王位傳給他的兒子挪亞；挪亞便開始接替他統治；他不遵行他父親的道。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And now it came to pass that Zeniff conferred the kingdom upon Noah, one of his sons; therefore Noah began to reign in his stead; and he did not walk in the ways of his father.</p>

And he did <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng cause] his people to commit sin, and do that which was <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng abominable] in the sight of the Lord. Yea, and they did commit <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng whoredoms] and <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng all] manner of wickedness.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span>  他拿所有這些來養自己和妻妾，還有祭司和他們的妻妾，他就這樣改變了國家的事務。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> And all this did he take to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng support] himself, and his wives and his <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng concubines]; and also his priests, and their wives and their concubines; thus he had changed the affairs of the kingdom.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> For he put down all the priests that had been consecrated by his father, and consecrated new <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng ones] in their stead, such as were lifted up in the pride of their hearts.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span>  是的，他們懶惰、拜偶像、通姦，用挪亞王加在人民身上的稅收來養自己；人民就這樣辛苦工作來助長罪惡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> Yea, and thus they were supported in their laziness, and in their idolatry, and in their whoredoms, by the taxes which king Noah had put upon his people; thus did the people labor exceedingly to support iniquity.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span>  是的，他們也拜偶像，因為國王和祭司用虛妄諂媚的話欺騙他們；他們確實說了諂媚的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> Yea, and they also became idolatrous, because they were deceived by the vain and flattering words of the king and priests; for they did speak flattering things unto them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span>  事情是這樣的，挪亞王建了許多富麗堂皇的廣廈，用木材、各種寶物、金、銀、鐵、黃銅、錫夫、銅製成的精工製品來裝飾。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> And it came to pass that king Noah built many elegant and spacious buildings; and he ornamented them with fine work of wood, and of all manner of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng precious] things, of gold, and of silver, and of iron, and of brass, and of ziff, and of copper;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span>  他也給自己建了一座大宮殿，宮殿中央有個王座，是用上好的木材造的，還用金子和銀子及各種寶物來裝飾。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> And he also built him a spacious palace, and a throne in the midst thereof, all of which was of fine wood and was ornamented with gold and silver and with precious things.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span>  他也叫工匠用上好的木材、銅、黃銅在聖殿的牆內做各種精工製品。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And he also caused that his workmen should work all manner of fine work within the walls of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng temple], of fine wood, and of copper, and of brass.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span>  所有大祭司專用的座椅都以純金裝飾，高於其他座椅；他還叫人在座椅前面造了一道齊胸的欄杆，讓他們對人民說謊言和虛妄的話時，可以把身體和手臂靠在上面。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And the seats which were set apart for the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng high] priests, which were above all the other seats, he did ornament with pure gold; and he caused a breastwork to be built before them, that they might rest their bodies and their arms upon while they should speak lying and vain words to his people.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And it came to pass that he built a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng tower] near the temple; yea, a very high tower, even so high that he could stand upon the top thereof and overlook the land of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng Shilom], and also the land of<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng Shemlon], which was possessed by the Lamanites; and he could even look over all the land round about.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span>  事情是這樣的，他叫人在夏隆地蓋了許多房子，並在夏隆地北邊的山坡上，也就是尼腓子孫逃離該地時避難的地方，建了一座高塔；他就這樣使用從人民的稅捐中得到的錢財。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And it came to pass that he caused many buildings to be built in the land Shilom; and he caused a great tower to be built on the<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng hill] north of the land Shilom, which had been a resort for the children of Nephi at the time they <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng fled] out of the land; and thus he did do with the riches which he obtained by the taxation of his people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span>  事情是這樣的，他將心思放在財富上，將時間用在和妻妾過著荒淫無度的生活上；他的祭司也是這樣將時間用在娼妓身上。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And it came to pass that he placed his heart upon his riches, and he spent his time in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng riotous] living with his wives and his concubines; and so did also his priests spend their time with harlots.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span>  事情是這樣的，他在各地闢建葡萄園，並且造酒醡，釀製大量的酒；因此，他成了<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 酗酒]者，他的人民也一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And it came to pass that he planted vineyards round about in the land; and he built wine-presses, and made <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng wine] in abundance; and therefore he became a wine-bibber, and also his people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span>  事情是這樣的，拉曼人開始前來攻擊他的人民，攻擊人數少的人，在他們的田裡和在他們牧養牲口的時候殺害他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And it came to pass that the Lamanites began to come in upon his people, upon small numbers, and to slay them in their fields, and while they were tending their flocks.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span>  挪亞王派衛兵到各地逐退他們；但他派的人不夠，拉曼人就來攻擊他們並殺死了他們，將許多牲口趕出那地；拉曼人就這樣開始消滅他們，向他們洩恨。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> And king Noah sent guards round about the land to keep them off; but he did not send a sufficient number, and the Lamanites came upon them and killed them, and drove many of their flocks out of the land; thus the Lamanites began to destroy them, and to exercise their hatred upon them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span>  事情是這樣的，挪亞王派軍隊與他們作戰，逐退他們，或者說，逐退他們一段時間；因此，他們帶著戰利品，歡喜而歸。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> And it came to pass that king Noah sent his armies against them, and they were driven back, or they drove them back for a time; therefore, they returned rejoicing in their spoil.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> And now, because of this great victory they were lifted up in the pride of their hearts; they did <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng boast] in their own strength, saying that their fifty could stand against thousands of the Lamanites; and thus they did boast, and did delight in blood, and the shedding of the blood of their brethren, and this because of the wickedness of their king and priests.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span>  事情是這樣的，他們之中有個名叫<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 阿賓納代]的人，他來到他們當中開始預言，說：看啊，主這樣說，祂這樣命令我說：去對這人民說，主這樣說──我看到人民的憎行、邪惡與淫亂，他們有禍了；除非他們悔改，否則我必在憤怒中懲罰他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> And it came to pass that there was a man among them whose name was <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng Abinadi]; and he went forth among them, and began to prophesy, saying: Behold, thus saith the Lord, and thus hath he commanded me, saying, Go forth, and say unto this people, thus saith the Lord—Wo be unto this people, for I have seen their abominations, and their wickedness, and their whoredoms; and except they repent I will <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng visit] them in mine anger.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span>  除非他們悔改，轉向主他們的神，看啊，否則我必將他們交在敵人手中；是的，他們必被<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 奴役]，必受敵人的手折磨。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> And except they repent and turn to the Lord their God, behold, I will deliver them into the hands of their enemies; yea, and they shall be brought into <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng bondage]; and they shall be afflicted by the hand of their enemies.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span>  事情將是這樣，他們必知道我是主他們的神，是<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 忌]邪的神，要追討人民的罪惡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> And it shall come to pass that they shall <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng know] that I am the Lord their God, and am a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng jealous] God, visiting the iniquities of my people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span>  事情將是這樣，除非這人民悔改，轉向主他們的神，否則必被奴役；除了主全能的神以外，無人能解救他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> And it shall come to pass that except this people repent and turn unto the Lord their God, they shall be brought into bondage; and none shall <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng deliver] them, except it be the Lord the Almighty God.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span>  除非他們披麻蒙灰悔改，大聲向主他們的神呼求，否則我不會<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 聽]他們的祈禱，也不會救他們脫離痛苦。主這樣說，祂已這樣命令我。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> And except they repent in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng sackcloth] and ashes, and cry mightily to the Lord their God, I will not <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng hear] their prayers, neither will I deliver them out of their afflictions; and thus saith the Lord, and thus hath he commanded me.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>26</span>  事情是這樣的，阿賓納代說了這些話，他們就對他發怒，圖謀他的性命；但是主救他脫離他們的手。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> Now it came to pass that when Abinadi had spoken these words unto them they were wroth with him, and sought to take away his life; but the Lord <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng delivered] him out of their hands.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span>  挪亞王聽了阿賓納代對人民說的話，也很生氣，他說：阿賓納代是誰，要他來審判我和我的人民？<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 主]又是誰，要降這麼大的痛苦給我的人民？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> Now when king Noah had heard of the words which Abinadi had spoken unto the people, he was also wroth; and he said: <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng Who]is Abinadi, that I and my people should be judged of him, or <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng who]is the Lord, that shall bring upon my people such great affliction?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span>  我命令你們把阿賓納代帶來，我好殺了他，因為他說這些事，想煽動我的人民彼此發怒，並挑起人民之間的紛爭；所以我要殺他。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> I command you to bring Abinadi hither, that I may slay him, for he has said these things that he might <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng stir] up my people to anger one with another, and to raise contentions among my people; therefore I will slay him.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>29</span>  人民的眼睛已<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 盲目]，因此<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=zho 硬]起心來反對阿賓納代的話，從那時起就想捉拿他。挪亞王也硬起心來反對主的話，不悔改他的惡行。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> Now the eyes of the people were <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng blinded]; therefore they<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/11?lang=eng hardened] their hearts against the words of Abinadi, and they sought from that time forward to take him. And king Noah hardened his heart against the word of the Lord, and he did not repent of his evil doings.</p>
