<p class='english'>Alma believes and writes the words of Abinadi—Abinadi suffers death by fire—He prophesies disease and death by fire upon his murderers. About 148 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span>  事情是這樣的，阿賓納代說完這些話，挪亞王就命令<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 祭司]抓住他，好把他處死。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And now it came to pass that when Abinadi had finished these sayings, that the king commanded that the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng priests] should take him and cause that he should be put to <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng death].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span>  但其中有個人名叫<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 阿爾瑪]，他也是尼腓的後裔，他是個年輕人，他<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 相信]阿賓納代所說的話，因為他很清楚阿賓納代所指證的罪惡；所以，他懇求王不要對阿賓納代發怒，讓他平安離去。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> But there was one among them whose name was <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng Alma], he also being a descendant of Nephi. And he was a young man, and he<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng believed] the words which Abinadi had spoken, for he knew concerning the iniquity which Abinadi had testified against them; therefore he began to plead with the king that he would not be angry with Abinadi, but suffer that he might depart in peace.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span>  但王更加惱怒，派人把阿爾瑪趕出去，並差僕人跟在後面好殺害他。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> But the king was more wroth, and caused that Alma should be cast out from among them, and sent his servants after him that they might slay him.</p>

And he being concealed for many days did <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng write] all the words which Abinadi had spoken.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span>  事情是這樣的，王下令侍衛包圍阿賓納代並抓住他；他們把他綁起來，關進監牢。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> And it came to pass that the king caused that his guards should surround Abinadi and take him; and they bound him and cast him into prison.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span>  過了三天，王和祭司們商量後，又派人把阿賓納代帶到他面前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And after three days, having counseled with his <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng priests], he caused that he should again be brought before him.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span>  王對他說：阿賓納代，我們查到你的一個罪狀，你該當死罪。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And he said unto him: Abinadi, we have found an accusation against thee, and thou art worthy of death.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span>  因為你說<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 神]會親自降臨人類兒女中；憑這一點你就該被處死，除非你收回所有你說的關於我和我人民的禍事的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> For thou hast said that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng God] himself should come down among the children of men; and now, for this cause thou shalt be put to death unless thou wilt recall all the words which thou hast spoken evil concerning me and my people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span>  阿賓納代對他說：我告訴你，我對你所說的關於這人民的話，我決不收回，因為那些話是真實的；我自願落在你手裡，就是要讓你知道那些話是真實的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Now Abinadi said unto him: I say unto you, I will <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng not] recall the words which I have spoken unto you concerning this people, for they are true; and that ye may know of their surety I have suffered myself that I have fallen into your hands.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span>  我情願受苦而死，也不收回我的話，那些話必作為對你不利的見證。假如你殺我，你就是流了<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 無辜]者的血，在末日，這也必作為對你不利的見證。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> Yea, and I will <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng suffer] even until death, and I will not recall my words, and they shall stand as a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng testimony] against you. And if ye slay me ye will shed <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng innocent] blood, and this shall also stand as a testimony against you at the last day.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span>  挪亞王就要放了阿賓納代，因為他怕他的話，怕神的懲罰會臨到他。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> And now king Noah was about to release him, for he feared his word; for he feared that the judgments of God would come upon him.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span>  但祭司們大聲反對阿賓納代，開始指控他說：他辱罵了王。王被激怒了，就把他交給他們處死。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> But the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng priests] lifted up their voices against him, and began to accuse him, saying: He has reviled the king. Therefore the king was stirred up in <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng anger] against him, and he delivered him up that he might be slain.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span>  事情是這樣的，他們抓住他，把他綁起來，用柴捆打他的皮膚，是的，直至死亡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And it came to pass that they took him and bound him, and<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng scourged] his skin with faggots, yea, even unto <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng death].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span>  火燄開始燒灼他時，他向他們喊道：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And now when the flames began to scorch him, he cried unto them, saying:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span>  看啊，你們這樣對待我，事情將是這樣，你們的後裔必會使許多人受我所受的痛苦，就是遭受<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 燒死]的痛苦；因為他們相信主他們的神的救恩。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Behold, even as ye have done unto me, so shall it come to pass that thy <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng seed] shall cause that many shall suffer the pains that I do suffer, even the pains of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng death] by fire; and this because they believe in the salvation of the Lord their God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span>  事情將是這樣，你們必因你們的罪惡而受各種疾病的折磨。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And it will come to pass that ye shall be afflicted with all manner of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng diseases] because of your iniquities.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span>  是的，你們必多方受<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 擊打]、四處遭驅趕和分散，就像野羊群被兇殘的野獸驅趕一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> Yea, and ye shall be smitten on every hand, and shall be driven and scattered to and fro, even as a wild flock is driven by wild and ferocious beasts.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span>  到那日，你們必被追捕，必被敵人的手抓住，那時，你們必像我一樣遭受<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 燒死]的痛苦。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> And in that day ye shall be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng hunted], and ye shall be taken by the hand of your enemies, and then ye shall suffer, as I suffer, the pains of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng death] by fire.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span>  神就這樣<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=zho 報復]那些毀滅祂人民的人。神啊，請接納我的靈魂。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> Thus God executeth <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng vengeance] upon those that destroy his people. O God, <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng receive] my soul.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span>  阿賓納代說完這些話，就被燒死，倒了下去；是的，他不願拒絕神的命令，因而被處死；他以死印證他的話的真實。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> And now, when <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng Abinadi] had said these words, he fell, having suffered death by fire; yea, having been put to death because he would not deny the commandments of God, having sealed the truth of his words by his <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/mosiah/17?lang=eng death].</p>
