<p class='english'>Ammon glories in the Lord—The faithful are strengthened by the Lord and are given knowledge—By faith men may bring thousands of souls unto repentance—God has all power and comprehends all things. About 90–77 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 艾蒙對他弟兄說了這樣的話：我的兄弟和弟兄們，看啊，我告訴你們，我們有多麼好的理由高興啊；因為我們從柴雷罕拉地<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/1a 出發]的時候，哪裡料到神會賜給我們這麼大的祝福呢？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And now, these are the words of Ammon to his brethren, which say thus: My brothers and my brethren, behold I say unto you, how great reason have we to rejoice; for could we have supposed when we <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng started] from the land of Zarahemla that God would have granted unto us such great blessings?</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> And now, I ask, what great blessings has he bestowed upon us? Can ye tell?</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> Behold, I answer for you; for our brethren, the Lamanites, were in darkness, yea, even in the darkest abyss, but behold, how<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng many] of them are brought to behold the marvelous light of God! And this is the blessing which hath been bestowed upon us, that we have been made <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng instruments] in the hands of God to bring about this great work.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>4</span> 看啊，他們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/4a 成千]的人都歡欣快樂，並被帶進神的羊圈。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> Behold, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng thousands] of them do rejoice, and have been brought into the fold of God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span> 看啊，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/5a 田地]已經熟了，而你們有福了，因為你們確曾揮動<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/5b 鐮刀]，努力收割，是的，你們終日辛勤；看看你們<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/5c 禾]捆的數量！那些禾捆都要收進穀倉裡，免得糟蹋了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> Behold, the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng field] was ripe, and blessed are ye, for ye did thrust in the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng sickle], and did reap with your might, yea, all the day long did ye labor; and behold the number of your <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng sheaves]! And they shall be gathered into the garners, that they are not wasted.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 是的，他們在末日必不被暴風吹倒，是的，也不被旋風拔起；<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/6a 暴風]來臨時，他們必被收聚在他們的地方，暴風無法吹襲他們，是的，強風也無法把他們颳到敵人想帶他們去的地方。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> Yea, they shall not be beaten down by the storm at the last day; yea, neither shall they be harrowed up by the whirlwinds; but when the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng storm] cometh they shall be gathered together in their place, that the storm cannot penetrate to them; yea, neither shall they be driven with fierce winds whithersoever the enemy listeth to carry them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span> 但是看啊，他們在<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/7a 收割]之主手中，他們屬於祂；祂會在末日<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/7b 高舉]他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> But behold, they are in the hands of the Lord of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng harvest], and they are his; and he will <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng raise] them up at the last day.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 我們神的名是應當稱頌的；讓我們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/8a 歌頌]讚美祂，是的，讓我們<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/8b 感謝]祂的聖名，因為祂永遠行正義之事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng Blessed] be the name of our God; let us <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng sing] to his praise, yea, let us give <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng thanks] to his holy name, for he doth work righteousness forever.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 若非我們離開柴雷罕拉地上到這裡來，這些我們摯愛的，而且也摯愛我們的弟兄，必仍受<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/9a 憎恨]我們之苦，是的，並且對神而言，他們還會是陌生人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> For if we had not come up out of the land of Zarahemla, these our dearly beloved brethren, who have so dearly beloved us, would still have been racked with <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng hatred] against us, yea, and they would also have been <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng strangers] to God.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And it came to pass that when Ammon had said these words, his brother Aaron rebuked him, saying: Ammon, I fear that thy joy doth carry thee away unto boasting.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> But Ammon said unto him: I do not <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng boast] in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng joy] is full, yea, my heart is brim with <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng joy], and I will rejoice in my God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 是的，我自知微不足道；我的力量薄弱；所以我不<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/12a 誇耀]自己，但我要誇耀我的神，因為有祂的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/12b 力量]，我什麼事都能做；是的，看啊，我們已在這塊土地上行了許多大奇蹟，我們永遠都要為此讚頌祂的名。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Yea, I know that I am <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng nothing]; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng not] boast of myself, but I will <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng boast] of my God, for in his <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng strength] I can do all <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng things]; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 看啊，有多少弟兄已由祂解除了<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/13a 地獄]的痛苦，並被引領而<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/13b 歌頌]救贖之愛？這都是祂在我們裡面的話語的力量，我們難道沒有好理由高興嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> Behold, how many thousands of our brethren has he loosed from the pains of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng hell]; and they are brought to <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng sing] redeeming love, and this because of the power of his word which is in us, therefore have we not great reason to rejoice?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 是的，我們有理由永遠讚美祂，因為祂是至高之神，解救我們的弟兄脫離了<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/14a 地獄]的鎖鏈。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> Yea, we have reason to praise him forever, for he is the Most High God, and has loosed our brethren from the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng chains] of hell.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Yea, they were encircled about with everlasting <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng darkness] and destruction; but behold, he has brought them into his everlasting<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng light], yea, into everlasting salvation; and they are encircled about with the matchless bounty of his love; yea, and we have been instruments in his hands of doing this great and marvelous work.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> Therefore, let us <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng glory], yea, we will <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng glory] in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng mercy], and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span> 誰料想到我們的神如此仁慈，把我們從可怕的、充滿罪惡且污穢的狀態中搶救出來？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> Who could have supposed that our God would have been so merciful as to have snatched us from our awful, sinful, and<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng polluted] state?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 看啊，我們以前甚至滿腔憤怒地出去，大膽威脅要<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/18a 毀滅]祂的教會。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> Behold, we went forth even in wrath, with mighty threatenings to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng destroy] his church.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span> 祂為什麼沒有把我們交給可怕的毀滅，是的，祂為什麼不讓祂公義之劍落在我們身上，並判定我們永遠絕望？</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 啊，一想到這，我的靈魂幾乎就要逃遁。看啊，祂不但沒有向我們行使祂的公道，反而極仁慈地帶我們越過死亡與悲慘的永恆<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/20a 深淵]，甚至拯救我們的靈魂。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> Oh, my soul, almost as it were, fleeth at the thought. Behold, he did not exercise his justice upon us, but in his great mercy hath brought us over that everlasting <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng gulf] of death and misery, even to the salvation of our souls.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span> 現在看啊，弟兄們，有哪一個<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/21a 自然]人知道這些事呢？我告訴你們，除了悔改的人外，沒有人<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/21b 知道]這些事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> And now behold, my brethren, what <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng natural] man is there that knoweth these things? I say unto you, there is <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng none] that<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng knoweth] these things, save it be the penitent.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span> 是的，凡是<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/22a 悔改]，運用<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/22b 信心]，結出好行為，並繼續不斷祈禱的人──<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/22c 神]的奧祕必讓這樣的人知道，是的，那從未啟示的事也必向這樣的人啟示；是的，必指派這樣的人帶領成千上萬的靈魂悔改，正如指派我們帶領我們這些弟兄悔改一樣。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> Yea, he that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng repenteth] and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng works], and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng mysteries] of God; yea, unto such it shall be <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng given] to <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng reveal] things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span> 弟兄們，你們還記得以前我們告訴我們柴雷罕拉地的弟兄說，我們要上尼腓地向我們的弟兄拉曼人傳道時，他們笑我們，蔑視我們的情形嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> Now do ye remember, my brethren, that we said unto our brethren in the land of Zarahemla, we go up to the land of Nephi, to preach unto our brethren, the Lamanites, and they <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng laughed] us to scorn?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span> 他們對我們說：你們以為你們能使拉曼人認識真理嗎？拉曼人的心喜愛流人血，他們以犯最重大的罪惡度日，他們的行徑一開始就是犯罪的行徑；你們以為你們能使像他們這樣的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/24a 民族]認清他們祖先<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/24b 傳統]的錯誤嗎？弟兄們，你們都記得這就是他們當初講的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> For they said unto us: Do ye suppose that ye can bring the Lamanites to the knowledge of the truth? Do ye suppose that ye can convince the Lamanites of the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng incorrectness] of the<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng traditions] of their fathers, as <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng stiffnecked] a people as they are; whose hearts delight in the <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng shedding] of blood; whose days have been spent in the grossest iniquity; whose ways have been the ways of a transgressor from the beginning? Now my brethren, ye remember that this was their language.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span> 此外，他們還說：讓我們拿起武器攻擊他們，將他們和他們的罪惡從這地上滅絕，免得他們征服我們，毀滅我們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> And moreover they did say: Let us take up arms against them, that we destroy them and their iniquity out of the land, lest they overrun us and destroy us.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>26</span> 但是看啊，我心愛的弟兄們，我們到曠野裡來，並不是要毀滅我們的弟兄，而是希望我們或許能拯救他們一些靈魂。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> But behold, my beloved brethren, we came into the wilderness not with the intent to destroy our brethren, but with the intent that perhaps we might save some few of their souls.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span> 現在看啊，我們來了，到了他們這裡，耐心忍受，備嘗艱辛；是的，我們依靠世人的憐憫，從一家到一家──不僅依靠世人的憐憫，更依靠神的憐憫。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> And now behold, we have come, and been forth amongst them; and we have been patient in our sufferings, and we have suffered every privation; yea, we have traveled from house to house, relying upon the mercies of the world—not upon the mercies of the world alone but upon the mercies of God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>29</span> 我們進到他們家裡並教他們，我們在街上教他們，是的，在山崗上教他們；我們也進到他們的聖殿和會堂裡並教他們；我們遭人驅逐、嘲弄、吐口水、摑打；我們遭人石砸，也遭人拘捕，以堅韌的繩索捆綁，關進監牢；由於神的大能與智慧才又把我們救出來。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> And we have entered into their houses and taught them, and we have taught them in their streets; yea, and we have taught them upon their hills; and we have also entered into their temples and their <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng synagogues] and taught them; and we have been cast out, and mocked, and spit upon, and smote upon our cheeks; and we have been <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng stoned], and taken and bound with<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng strong] cords, and cast into prison; and through the power and wisdom of God we have been delivered again.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>30</span> And we have suffered all manner of afflictions, and all this, that perhaps we might be the means of saving some soul; and we supposed that our <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng joy] would be full if perhaps we could be the means of saving some.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>31</span> 現在看啊，我們舉目可見我們辛勞的成果；那果子算少嗎？我告訴你們，不少，那果子<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/31a 很多]；是的，從他們對弟兄與對我們的愛，我們可以作證他們是真誠的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>31</span> Now behold, we can look forth and see the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng fruits] of our labors; and are they few? I say unto you, Nay, they are <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng many]; yea, and we can witness of their sincerity, because of their love towards their brethren and also towards us.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>32</span> For behold, they had rather <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng sacrifice] their lives than even to take the life of their enemy; and they have <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng buried] their weapons of war deep in the earth, because of their love towards their brethren.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>33</span> 現在看啊，我對你們說，在這塊土地上曾有過這麼偉大的愛嗎？看啊，我告訴你們，沒有，還沒有，就是尼腓人也還沒有。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>33</span> And now behold I say unto you, has there been so great love in all the land? Behold, I say unto you, Nay, there has not, even among the Nephites.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>34</span> 因為看啊，他們會拿起武器攻擊他們的弟兄，而不會讓自己被殺。看啊，已有多少拉曼人犧牲了生命；然而我們知道，因為他們的愛心，因為他們憎恨罪惡，他們已到他們的神那裡去了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>34</span> For behold, they would take up arms against their brethren; they would not suffer themselves to be slain. But behold how<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng many] of these have laid down their lives; and we know that they have gone to their God, because of their love and of their hatred to sin.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>36</span> Now if this is <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng boasting], even so will I boast; for this is my life and my light, my joy and my salvation, and my redemption from everlasting wo. Yea, blessed is the name of my God, who has been mindful of this people, who are a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng branch] of the tree of Israel, and has been <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng lost] from its body in a strange land; yea, I say, blessed be the name of my God, who has been mindful of us,<sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/26?lang=eng wanderers] in a strange land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>37</span> 弟兄們，我們知道神關心每一個<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/26/37a 民族]，無論他們在什麼地方；是的，祂點算祂的人民，祂慈悲的心腸遍及全世界。這是我的喜樂，我無限的感恩；是的，我要永遠感謝我的神。阿們。</p>
