<p class='english'>Korihor, the anti-Christ, ridicules Christ, the Atonement, and the spirit of prophecy—He teaches that there is no God, no fall of man, no penalty for sin, and no Christ—Alma testifies that Christ will come and that all things denote there is a God—Korihor demands a sign and is struck dumb—The devil had appeared to Korihor as an angel and taught him what to say—Korihor is trodden down and dies. <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> And thus the people did have no disturbance in all the sixteenth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> Now there was no law against a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng man]’s <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng belief]; for it was strictly contrary to the commands of God that there should be a law which should bring men on to unequal grounds.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> For thus saith the scripture: <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng Choose] ye this day, whom ye will serve.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 如果一個人想要事奉神，那是他的特權；或者說，如果他信神，事奉神就是他的特權；但是如果他不信神，沒有法律可以處罰他。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Now if a man desired to serve God, it was his privilege; or rather, if he believed in God it was his privilege to serve him; but if he did not believe in him there was no law to punish him.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span> 但是如果他謀殺，就要被<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/10a 處死]；如果他搶劫，就要受處罰；如果他偷竊，也要受處罰；如果他姦淫，也要受處罰；是的，他們犯這些罪行，都要受處罰。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> But if he <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng murdered] he was punished unto <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng death]; and if he<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng robbed] he was also punished; and if he stole he was also punished; and if he committed <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng adultery] he was also punished; yea, for all this wickedness they were punished.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 因為有法律規定，人要依他的罪行接受審判。但是，沒有法律反對人的信仰；因此，人只為自己所犯的罪行受處罰；所有的人<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/11a 地位]平等。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> For there was a law that men should be judged according to their crimes. Nevertheless, there was no law against a man’s belief; therefore, a man was punished only for the crimes which he had done; therefore all men were on <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng equal] grounds.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 這個反基督的人，名叫柯力何，（法律對他沒有約束力）開始告訴人民絕對不會有基督。他就這麼宣講說：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> And this <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng Anti]-Christ, whose name was Korihor, (and the law could have no hold upon him) began to preach unto the people that there should be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng no] Christ. And after this manner did he preach, saying:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 你們這些受制於愚蠢而空洞的希望的人啊，為什麼要讓這樣愚蠢的事加重自己的負擔呢？為什麼要尋求基督呢？沒有人能知道未來的事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> O ye that are bound down under a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng foolish] and a vain hope, why do ye yoke yourselves with such foolish things? Why do ye look for a Christ? For no man can <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng know] of anything which is to come.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 看啊，你們所謂的這些預言，你們說是聖先知傳下來的，看啊，都是你們祖先的愚蠢傳統。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> Behold, these things which ye call prophecies, which ye say are handed down by holy prophets, behold, they are foolish traditions of your fathers.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 你們怎麼知道那些事是真的呢？看啊，你們無法知道你們沒有<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/15a 看見]的事；所以你們無法知道將來有位基督。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> How do ye know of their surety? Behold, ye cannot know of things which ye do not <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng see]; therefore ye cannot know that there shall be a Christ.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 你們盼望著，並且說你們看到你們罪的赦免。但是看啊，那是心智狂亂的結果，你們這種心智錯亂，是來自你們祖先的傳統造成的；那傳統誘騙你們相信錯誤的事。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> Ye look forward and say that ye see a remission of your sins. But behold, it is the effect of a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng frenzied] mind; and this derangement of your minds comes because of the traditions of your fathers, which lead you away into a belief of things which are not so.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span> 他還對他們說了很多類似這樣的話，告訴他們，不會有為世人的罪而作的贖罪，每個人今生憑其作為收穫成敗，因此每個人憑其才智而昌盛，每個人憑其能力獲勝；人不論做什麼都無罪。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> And many more such things did he say unto them, telling them that there could be no atonement made for the sins of men, but every man <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng fared] in this life according to the management of the creature; therefore every man prospered according to his genius, and that every man conquered according to his strength; and <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng whatsoever] a man did was <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng no] crime.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 他就這樣向他們宣講，誘走很多人的心，使他們在邪惡中趾高氣揚，是的，引誘很多女人和男人姦淫──告訴他們，人死了，什麼都結束了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> And thus he did preach unto them, leading away the hearts of many, causing them to lift up their heads in their wickedness, yea, leading away many women, and also men, to commit whoredoms—telling them that when a man was dead, that was the end thereof.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span> 這個人也去裘勛地，向艾蒙人宣講這些事；艾蒙人以前是拉曼人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> Now this man went over to the land of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng Jershon] also, to preach these things among the people of Ammon, who were once the people of the Lamanites.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 但是看啊，他們比許多尼腓人明智；他們把他抓起來綁住，送到人民的大祭司艾蒙面前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> But behold they were more wise than many of the Nephites; for they took him, and bound him, and carried him before Ammon, who was a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng high] priest over that people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span> 事情是這樣的，他派人將他押解出境。他來到基甸地，又開始向他們宣講；他在這裡沒有多大成功，他又被抓起來綁著，送到那地的大祭司和首席法官面前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> And it came to pass that he caused that he should be carried out of the land. And he came over into the land of Gideon, and began to preach unto them also; and here he did not have much success, for he was taken and bound and carried before the high priest, and also the chief judge over the land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span> 事情是這樣的，大祭司對他說：你為什麼到處歪曲主的道？你為什麼教導人民說，將來不會有基督，而中斷他們的喜樂？你為什麼宣講與聖先知們的預言相反的話？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> And it came to pass that the high priest said unto him: Why do ye go about perverting the ways of the Lord? Why do ye teach this people that there shall be no Christ, to interrupt their rejoicings? Why do ye speak against all the prophecies of the holy prophets?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span> 那大祭司名叫吉度拿。柯力何對他說：因為我不教來自你們祖先的愚蠢傳統，因為我不教這人民用愚蠢的教儀和形式束縛自己；這些都是古代祭司制定的，要僭取統治他們的權力和權柄，把他們留在無知中，讓他們抬不起頭來，並被你的話壓低。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> Now the high priest’s name was Giddonah. And Korihor said unto him: Because I do not teach the foolish traditions of your fathers, and because I do not teach this people to bind themselves down under the foolish ordinances and performances which are laid down by ancient priests, to usurp power and authority over them, to keep them in ignorance, that they may not lift up their heads, but be brought down according to thy words.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span> 你們說這人民是自由的，看啊，我說他們是受奴役的。你們說那些古代的預言是真的，看啊，我說你們不知道那些預言是真的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> Ye say that this people is a free people. Behold, I say they are in bondage. Ye say that those ancient prophecies are true. Behold, I say that ye do not know that they are true.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span> 你們說這人民因為一位祖先犯罪，所以是有罪而墜落的人民，看啊，我說子女不因父母而有罪。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> Ye say that this people is a guilty and a fallen people, because of the transgression of a parent. Behold, I say that a child is not guilty because of its parents.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>26</span> 你們還說基督必定來臨，但是看啊，我說你們並不知道將來是否會有基督。而你們還說祂必因<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/26a 世人]的罪被殺──</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> And ye also say that Christ shall come. But behold, I say that ye do not know that there shall be a Christ. And ye say also that he shall be slain for the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng sins] of the world—</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span> 你們就這樣照著來自你們祖先的愚蠢傳統和你們自己的欲望誘騙這人民；你們壓迫他們如同奴隸一般，享用他們雙手勞動的成果，使他們不敢大膽仰視，不敢享受他們的權利和特權。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> And thus ye lead away this people after the foolish traditions of your fathers, and according to your own desires; and ye keep them down, even as it were in bondage, that ye may glut yourselves with the labors of their hands, that they durst not look up with boldness, and that they durst not enjoy their rights and privileges.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>28</span> 是的，他們不敢使用自己的東西，深恐得罪他們的祭司；那些祭司任意加重他們的負擔，並且用他們的傳統、他們的夢想、他們的興緻、他們的幻象和他們假裝的神祕，使他們相信，如果他們不照他們的話做，就會得罪一個不可知而他們所謂神的人物──那人物從來沒有人見過或認識，從未有過，將來也不會有。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> Yea, they durst not make use of that which is their own lest they should offend their priests, who do yoke them according to their desires, and have brought them to believe, by their traditions and their dreams and their whims and their visions and their pretended mysteries, that they should, if they did not do according to their words, offend some unknown being, who they say is God—a being who <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng never] has been seen or known, who<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng never] was nor ever will be.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>29</span> 大祭司和首席法官見他心地頑硬，是的，見他甚至要辱罵神，就不願對他的話作任何答覆，派人將他綁起來，交在差役手中，將他送往柴雷罕拉地，帶到阿爾瑪和全地的首席法官那裡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> Now when the high priest and the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng chief] judge saw the hardness of his heart, yea, when they saw that he would <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng revile]even against God, they would not make any reply to his words; but they caused that he should be bound; and they delivered him up into the hands of the officers, and sent him to the land of Zarahemla, that he might be brought before Alma, and the chief judge who was governor over all the land.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>31</span> 他在阿爾瑪面前<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/31a 大]放厥辭，辱罵祭司和教師，指控他們為了享用人民勞動的成果，而以來自祖先的愚蠢傳統來誘騙他們。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>31</span> And he did rise up in great <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng swelling] words before Alma, and did revile against the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng priests] and teachers, accusing them of leading away the people after the silly traditions of their fathers, for the sake of glutting on the labors of the people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>32</span> 阿爾瑪對他說：你知道我們並未享用這人民勞動的成果；因為看啊，從法官開始統治到現在，我雖多次到各地向人民宣講神的話，但我都用自己的雙手工作，自食其力。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>32</span> Now Alma said unto him: Thou knowest that we do not glut ourselves upon the labors of this people; for behold I have<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng labored] even from the commencement of the reign of the judges until now, with mine <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng own] hands for my support, notwithstanding my many travels round about the land to declare the word of God unto my people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>33</span> 我雖然在教會裡做很多工作，但不曾因工作收過甚至一<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/33a 先寧]那麼多的報酬；除了擔任審判職務外，我的弟兄也沒收過；那時我們只是依法按照時數領取報酬而已。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>33</span> And notwithstanding the many labors which I have performed in the church, I have never received so much as even one <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng senine] for my labor; neither has any of my brethren, save it were in the judgment-seat; and then we have received only according to law for our time.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>34</span> 既然我們在教會裡工作不收取任何東西，那麼除了宣講真理，使我們因弟兄的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/34a 快樂]而得到快樂外，我們在教會裡工作對我們有什麼益處呢？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>34</span> And now, if we do not receive anything for our labors in the church, what doth it profit us to labor in the church save it were to declare the truth, that we may have rejoicings in the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng joy] of our brethren?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>35</span> 既然你知道我們不拿酬勞，為什麼還說我們向人民宣講是為了謀利呢？你認為我們欺騙這人民，還會使他們心中得到這樣的快樂嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>35</span> Then why sayest thou that we preach unto this people to get gain, when thou, of thyself, knowest that we receive no gain? And now, believest thou that we deceive this people, that <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng causes] such joy in their hearts?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>36</span> 柯力何回答他說：對。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>36</span> And Korihor answered him, Yea.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>37</span> 然後阿爾瑪對他說：你相信有神嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>37</span> And then Alma said unto him: Believest thou that there is a God?</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>39</span> 阿爾瑪對他說：你還要否認有神，並且否認基督嗎？因為看啊，我告訴你，我知道有神，也知道基督必定來臨。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>39</span> Now Alma said unto him: Will ye deny again that there is a God, and also deny the Christ? For behold, I say unto you, I know there is a God, and also that Christ shall come.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>40</span> And now what evidence have ye that there is no <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng God], or that Christ cometh not? I say unto you that ye have none, save it be your word only.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>41</span> 但是看啊，我卻有一切事物為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/41a 證]，證明這些事都是真的；你也有一切事物向你證明，這些都是真的；你要否認這些嗎？你相信這些事都是真的嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>41</span> But, behold, I have all things as a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng testimony] that these things are true; and ye also have all things as a testimony unto you that they are true; and will ye deny them? Believest thou that these things are true?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>42</span> 看啊，我知道你相信，只是你被說謊之靈控制，並且你離棄神的靈，心中容不下神的靈；而魔鬼卻有力量控制你，帶你到處進行種種詭計，毀滅神的兒女。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>42</span> Behold, I know that thou <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng believest], but thou art possessed with a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng lying] spirit, and ye have put <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng off] the Spirit of God that it may have no place in you; but the devil has power over you, and he doth carry you about, working devices that he may destroy the children of God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>43</span> 柯力何對阿爾瑪說：如果你顯個<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/43a 徵兆]給我看，也許可以使我相信真的有神；是啊，讓我看到祂有能力，我就相信你的話是真的。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>43</span> And now Korihor said unto Alma: If thou wilt show me a<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng sign], that I may be convinced that there is a God, yea, show unto me that he hath power, and then will I be convinced of the truth of thy words.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>45</span> 你還要到處誘騙這人民的心，向他們證明沒有神嗎？你還要否認這一切見證嗎？他回答說：是的，我否認，除非你顯個徵兆給我看。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>45</span> And yet do ye go about, leading away the hearts of this people, testifying unto them there is no God? And yet will ye deny against all these <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng witnesses]? And he said: Yea, I will deny, except ye shall show me a sign.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>46</span> 事情是這樣的，阿爾瑪對他說：看啊，你心地頑硬，仍然要抗拒真理之靈，使你的靈魂毀滅，真令我痛心。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>46</span> And now it came to pass that Alma said unto him: Behold, I am grieved because of the hardness of your heart, yea, that ye will still resist the spirit of the truth, that thy soul may be destroyed.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>47</span> 但是看啊，你喪失靈魂總比你成為用謊言和諂媚的話引領靈魂毀滅的工具要<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/47a 好]；所以，如果你再否認，看啊，神必擊打你，你必成為啞巴，永遠不再開口，不再欺騙這人民。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>47</span> But behold, it is <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng better] that thy soul should be <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng lost] than that thou shouldst be the means of bringing many souls down to destruction, by thy lying and by thy flattering words; therefore if thou shalt deny again, behold God shall smite thee, that thou shalt become dumb, that thou shalt never open thy mouth any more, that thou shalt not deceive this people any more.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>48</span> 柯力何對他說：我不否認神的存在，只是我不相信有神；而且我還要說，你們也不知道是否有神；除非你們顯個徵兆給我看，否則我不相信。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>48</span> Now Korihor said unto him: I do not deny the existence of a God, but I do not believe that there is a God; and I say also, that ye do not know that there is a God; and except ye show me a sign, I will not believe.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>49</span> 於是阿爾瑪對他說：這就是我要給你的徵兆，你必按照我的話被<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/49a 擊]成啞巴；我奉神的名說，你必被擊成啞巴，不能再說話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>49</span> Now Alma said unto him: This will I give unto thee for a sign, that thou shalt be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng struck] dumb, according to my words; and I say, that in the name of God, ye shall be struck dumb, that ye shall no more have utterance.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>50</span> 阿爾瑪說完這些話，柯力何就被擊成啞巴，正如阿爾瑪所說，不能說話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>50</span> Now when Alma had said these words, Korihor was struck dumb, that he could not have utterance, according to the words of Alma.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>51</span> 首席法官看了這情形，就伸手寫給柯力何道：你相信神的大能嗎？你想阿爾瑪會用誰來顯示徵兆呢？你希望他使別人受苦，來顯徵兆給你看嗎？看啊，他已經顯徵兆給你看了；現在你還要爭辯嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>51</span> And now when the chief judge saw this, he put forth his hand and wrote unto Korihor, saying: Art thou convinced of the power of God? In whom did ye desire that Alma should show forth his sign? Would ye that he should afflict others, to show unto thee a sign? Behold, he has showed unto you a sign; and now will ye dispute more?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>52</span> 柯力何伸手寫道：我知道我已經成了啞巴，因為我不能說話；我知道除了神的大能以外，沒有任何事物能使我變成這樣；是的，我一直都<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/52a 知道]真的有神。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>52</span> And Korihor put forth his hand and wrote, saying: I know that I am dumb, for I cannot speak; and I know that nothing save it were the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng power] of God could bring this upon me; yea, and I always <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng knew] that there was a God.</p>

And he said unto me: There is <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng no] God; yea, and he taught me that which I should say. And I have taught his words; and I taught them because they were pleasing unto the<sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng carnal] mind; and I taught them, even until I had much success, insomuch that I verily believed that they were true; and for this cause I withstood the truth, even until I have brought this great<sup class='englishSup'>f</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng curse] upon me.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>54</span> 他寫完這話，便懇求阿爾瑪向神祈求，希望能除去他身上的詛罰。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>54</span> Now when he had said this, he besought that Alma should pray unto God, that the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng curse] might be taken from him.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>55</span> 但是阿爾瑪對他說：如果這詛罰從你身上除去，你仍然會再誘騙這人民的心；所以，讓主按照他的旨意對待你。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>55</span> But Alma said unto him: If this curse should be taken from thee thou wouldst again lead away the hearts of this people; therefore, it shall be unto thee even as the Lord will.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>56</span> 事情是這樣的，那詛罰並未從柯力何身上除去；他被趕出去，挨家挨戶，四處乞食。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>56</span> And it came to pass that the curse was not taken off of Korihor; but he was <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng cast] out, and went about from house to house begging for his food.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>57</span> 柯力何的遭遇立即就傳遍全境；是的，首席法官向境內全體人民發出公告，向那些相信柯力何言論的人宣布，他們務必從速悔改，免得遭到同樣的懲罰。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>57</span> Now the knowledge of what had happened unto Korihor was immediately published throughout all the land; yea, the proclamation was sent forth by the chief judge to all the people in the land, declaring unto those who had believed in the words of Korihor that they must speedily repent, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng lest] the same judgments would come unto them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>58</span> 事情是這樣的，他們都認清了柯力何的邪惡，因此都重新歸信了主；柯力何式的罪惡乃告結束。而柯力何則挨家挨戶，四處乞食為生。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>58</span> And it came to pass that they were all convinced of the wickedness of Korihor; therefore they were all converted again unto the Lord; and this put an end to the iniquity after the manner of Korihor. And Korihor did go about from house to house, begging food for his support.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>59</span> 事情是這樣的，他到了一群人中間，是的，即一群以一位名叫卓倫的人為首，脫離尼腓人且自稱卓倫人的人民中──他一到他們那裡，看啊，便被撞倒、踐踏而死。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>59</span> And it came to pass that as he went forth among the people, yea, among a people who had separated themselves from the Nephites and called themselves <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng Zoramites], being led by a man whose name was Zoram—and as he went forth amongst them, behold, he was run upon and trodden down, even until he was<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng dead].</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>60</span> 由此可知歪曲主道路之人的下場；由此可知，<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/60a 魔鬼]在末日不會<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/60b 援助]他的兒女，卻會迅速拖他們下<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/30/60c 地獄]。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>60</span> And thus we see the end of him who <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng perverteth] the ways of the Lord; and thus we see that the devil will not <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng support] his children at the last day, but doth speedily drag them down to<sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/30?lang=eng hell].</p>
