<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And he said: Yea, I will keep thy commandments with all my heart.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> Then Alma said unto him: Blessed art thou; and the Lord shall<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng prosper] thee in this land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 但是看啊，我要對你說些<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/9a 預言]，但我對你預言的不可以讓人知道；是的，我對你預言的，要到預言應驗的時候才可以讓人知道；所以你要把我說的話寫下來。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> But behold, I have somewhat to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng prophesy] unto thee; but what I prophesy unto thee ye shall not make known; yea, what I prophesy unto thee shall not be made known, even until the prophecy is fulfilled; therefore write the words which I shall say.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And these are the words: Behold, I perceive that this very people, the Nephites, according to the spirit of revelation which is in me, in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng four] hundred years from the time that Jesus Christ shall manifest himself unto them, shall dwindle in <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng unbelief].</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Yea, and this because they shall dwindle in unbelief and fall into the works of darkness, and <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng lasciviousness], and all manner of iniquities; yea, I say unto you, that because they shall sin against so great light and knowledge, yea, I say unto you, that from that day, even the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng fourth] generation shall not all pass away before this great iniquity shall come.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 那大日子來到時，看啊，那些目前，也就是那些目前算在尼腓人當中的人的後裔，很快就<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/13a 不再]被算在尼腓人當中了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And when that great day cometh, behold, the time very soon cometh that those who are now, or the seed of those who are now numbered among the people of Nephi, shall <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng no] more be numbered among the people of Nephi.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 凡在那大而可畏之日未被消滅而倖存者，都要被<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/14a 算]在拉曼人當中，除了少數幾個被稱為主的門徒的人以外，所有的人都變成像拉曼人一樣；拉曼人要追捕他們，<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/14b 直到]使他們滅絕了為止。由於罪惡，這預言必應驗。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> But whosoever remaineth, and is not destroyed in that great and dreadful day, shall be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng numbered] among the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng Lamanites], and shall become like unto them, all, save it be a few who shall be called the disciples of the Lord; and them shall the Lamanites pursue even <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng until] they shall become extinct. And now, because of iniquity, this prophecy shall be fulfilled.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 事情是這樣的，阿爾瑪對希拉曼講完這些事，便祝福他，也祝福他其餘的兒子；他也為了<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/15a 義人]的緣故而祝福大地。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And now it came to pass that after Alma had said these things to Helaman, he <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng blessed] him, and also his other sons; and he also blessed the earth for the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng righteous]’ sake.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 他說：主神如此說──這地必因作惡的各國、各族、各方、各民而受<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/16a 詛罰]，等他們惡貫滿盈時，他們必遭毀滅；我說過的話必定實現；因為這是神給這地的詛罰與<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/16b 祝福]，因為主不能以<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/16c 絲毫]寬容來看待罪惡。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> And he said: Thus saith the Lord God—<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng Cursed] shall be the land, yea, this land, unto every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, unto destruction, which do <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng wickedly], when they are fully ripe; and as I have said so shall it be; for this is the cursing and the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng blessing] of God upon the land, for the Lord cannot look upon sin with the <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng least] degree of allowance.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span> 阿爾瑪說完這些話，便祝福<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/17a 教會]，是的，祝福所有從那時起堅定信仰的人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> And now, when Alma had said these words he blessed the<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng church], yea, all those who should stand fast in the faith from that time henceforth.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 阿爾瑪做完這事，就離開柴雷罕拉地，好像要進入米勒克地。事情是這樣的，以後再也沒有聽到他的消息；至於他的死亡或埋葬，我們一無所知。</p>

And it came to pass that he was never heard of more; as to his death or burial we know not of.</p>

But behold, the scriptures saith the Lord took Moses unto himself; and we suppose that he has also received Alma in the spirit, unto himself; therefore, for this cause we know nothing concerning his death and burial.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 事情是這樣的，法官統治尼腓人的第十九年初，希拉曼到人民之中向他們宣講神的話。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> And now it came to pass in the commencement of the nineteenth year of the reign of the judges over the people of Nephi, that Helaman went forth among the people to declare the<sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng word] unto them.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> For behold, because of their wars with the Lamanites and the many little dissensions and disturbances which had been among the people, it became expedient that the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng word] of God should be declared among them, yea, and that a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng regulation] should be made throughout the church.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span> 他們憑恃極大的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/24a 財富]而心高氣傲，因此他們<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/45/24b 自以為]富有，不願留意他們的話，不願正直地行走在神前。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> But they grew proud, being lifted up in their hearts, because of their exceedingly great <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng riches]; therefore they grew rich in their own eyes, and would not give heed to their words, to <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/45?lang=eng walk]uprightly before God.</p>
