<p class='english'>The words of Alma, and also the words of Amulek, which were declared unto the people who were in the land of Ammonihah. And also they are cast into prison, and delivered by the miraculous power of God which was in them, according to the record of Alma.</p>

<p class='chinese'>阿爾瑪命令艾蒙乃哈的人民悔改──主在末世將以慈悲待拉曼人──尼腓人若背棄光，就會為拉曼人所滅──神的兒子很快就要來到──祂會救贖那些悔改、受洗並對祂的名有信心的人。約主前八二年。</p>
<p class='english'>Alma commands the people of Ammonihah to repent—The Lord will be merciful to the Lamanites in the last days—If the Nephites forsake the light, they will be destroyed by the Lamanites—The Son of God will come soon—He will redeem those who repent, are baptized, and have faith in his name. About 82 B.C.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>1</span> 我，阿爾瑪，蒙神命令，要帶艾繆萊克再去向這人民傳教，也就是向艾蒙乃哈城的人民傳教，事情是這樣的，我一開始向他們傳教，他們就開始爭辯說：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span> And again, I, Alma, having been commanded of God that I should take Amulek and go forth and preach again unto this people, or the people who were in the city of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng Ammonihah], it came to pass as I began to preach unto them, they began to contend with me, saying:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>2</span> 你是什麼人？你以為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/2a 一個]人向我們宣講大地要消逝了，我們就要相信他的見證嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span> Who art thou? Suppose ye that we shall believe the testimony of <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng one] man, although he should preach unto us that the earth should pass away?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>3</span> 他們不了解自己所說的話，因為他們不知道大地必會消逝。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span> Now they understood not the words which they spake; for they knew not that the earth should pass away.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span> And they said also: We will not believe thy words if thou shouldst prophesy that this great city should be destroyed in <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng one]day.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>5</span> 他們不知道神能行此等奇妙的事，因為他們是一群心硬頸強的人民。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span> Now they knew not that God could do such marvelous <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng works], for they were a hard-hearted and a stiffnecked people.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>6</span> 他們說：<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/6a 神]是誰？竟然只派一個人，而<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/6b 不]派更大的權柄來向這人民宣講這麼偉大而奇妙的事？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span> And they said: <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng Who] is God, that sendeth <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng no] more authority than one man among this people, to declare unto them the truth of such great and marvelous things?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>7</span> 他們上前，想來抓我；但是看啊，他們沒有動手。我勇敢地站在那裡向他們宣講，是的，我勇敢地向他們見證說：</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span> And they stood forth to lay their hands on me; but behold, they did not. And I stood with boldness to declare unto them, yea, I did boldly testify unto them, saying:</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>8</span> 看啊，你們這既邪惡又頑固的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/8a 一]代啊，怎麼忘了來自你們祖先的傳統呢？是的，怎麼這麼快就忘了神的誡命呢？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span> Behold, O ye wicked and perverse <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng generation], how have ye forgotten the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng tradition] of your fathers; yea, how soon ye have forgotten the commandments of God.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>9</span> 你們不記得我們的祖先李海是由<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/9a 神]的手帶出耶路撒冷的嗎？你們不記得他們都是由祂帶過曠野的嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>9</span> Do ye not remember that our father, Lehi, was brought out of Jerusalem by the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng hand] of God? Do ye not remember that they were all led by him through the wilderness?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>10</span> 你們這麼快就忘記祂曾多少次把我們祖先從敵人手中救出，保全他們，使他們不致滅亡，不致毀於自己兄弟之手嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>10</span> And have ye forgotten so soon how many times he <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng delivered]our fathers out of the hands of their enemies, and preserved them from being destroyed, even by the hands of their own brethren?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 是的，要不是祂無比的大能、祂的慈悲，以及祂對我們的恆久忍耐，我們已經無可避免地從地面上被剪除，或許已被交到<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/11a 無盡]悲慘和災禍的狀態中。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> Yea, and if it had not been for his matchless power, and his mercy, and his <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng long]-suffering towards us, we should unavoidably have been cut off from the face of the earth long before this period of time, and perhaps been consigned to a state of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng endless]misery and woe.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>12</span> 看啊，我告訴你們，祂命令你們要悔改；除非你們悔改，否則你們絕無法承受神的國。但是看啊，還不止此──祂已命令你們悔改，否則祂要將你們從地面上徹底<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/12a 毀滅]；是的，祂將在憤怒中責罰你們，祂決不平息祂的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/12b 烈]怒。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>12</span> Behold, now I say unto you that he commandeth you to repent; and except ye repent, ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. But behold, this is not all—he has commanded you to repent, or he will utterly <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng destroy] you from off the face of the earth; yea, he will visit you in his <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng anger], and in his <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng fierce]anger he will not turn away.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>13</span> 看啊，你們不記得祂對李海說過的話嗎？祂說：<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/13a 只要]你們遵守我的誡命，你們必在這地昌盛；還說：你們若不遵守我的誡命，你們必被剪除，與主隔絕。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> Behold, do ye not remember the words which he spake unto Lehi, saying that: <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng Inasmuch] as ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall prosper in the land? And again it is said that: Inasmuch as ye will not keep my commandments ye shall be cut off from the presence of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 我希望你們記住，拉曼人沒有遵守神的誡命，所以就被<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/14a 剪除]，與主隔絕。現在我們知道主的話已在這件事上應驗了，拉曼人一開始在這地上犯罪，就被剪除，與祂隔絕了。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> Now I would that ye should remember, that inasmuch as the Lamanites have not kept the commandments of God, they have been <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng cut] off from the presence of the Lord. Now we see that the word of the Lord has been verified in this thing, and the Lamanites have been cut off from his presence, from the beginning of their transgressions in the land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 但是我告訴你們，如果你們仍處於罪惡之中，到審判的日子，他們的景況將比你們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/15a 好]受。是的，除非你們悔改，否則他們今生的景況也會比你們好受。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> Nevertheless I say unto you, that it shall be more <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng tolerable]for them in the day of judgment than for you, if ye remain in your sins, yea, and even more tolerable for them in this life than for you, except ye repent.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>16</span> 因為有很多應許已<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/16a 給]了拉曼人；他們之所以處於<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/16b 無知]的狀態中，是由於他們祖先的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/16c 傳統]造成的；所以主必憐憫他們，<sup class='chineseSup'>ｄ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/16d 延長]他們在這地上的日子。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>16</span> For there are many promises which are <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng extended] to the Lamanites; for it is because of the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng traditions] of their fathers that caused them to remain in their state of <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng ignorance]; therefore the Lord will be merciful unto them and <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng prolong] their existence in the land.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>17</span> 在某個時期，他們會蒙<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/17a 帶領]而相信祂的話，並知道來自他們祖先的傳統之錯誤；他們有很多人必得救，因為主必憐憫所有<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/17b 呼求]祂名的人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>17</span> And at some period of time they will be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng brought] to believe in his word, and to know of the incorrectness of the traditions of their fathers; and many of them will be saved, for the Lord will be merciful unto all who <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng call] on his name.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>18</span> 但是看啊，我告訴你們，如果你們堅持要犯罪，你們在這地上的日子，必不得延長，因為<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/18a 拉曼]人必被差來攻打你們；你們若不悔改，祂們必在你們不知道的時候到來，你們必遭<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/18b 徹底]的毀滅；這必照主的烈<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/18c 怒]實現。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>18</span> But behold, I say unto you that if ye persist in your wickedness that your days shall not be <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng prolonged] in the land, for the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng Lamanites] shall be sent upon you; and if ye repent not they shall come in a time when you know not, and ye shall be visited with <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng utter] destruction; and it shall be according to the fierce<sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng anger] of the Lord.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>19</span> 因為祂絕不容許你們活在罪惡之中來毀滅祂的人民。我告訴你們，絕不容許；如果尼腓人獲得主他們的神所賜予的這麼多光和知識後，還會<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/19a 犯罪]、違誡，主寧可讓拉曼人<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/19b 毀滅]祂所有稱為尼腓人的人民。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>19</span> For he will not suffer you that ye shall live in your iniquities, to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng destroy] his people. I say unto you, Nay; he would rather suffer that the Lamanites might destroy all his people who are called the people of Nephi, if it were possible that they could <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng fall] into sins and transgressions, after having had so much light and so much knowledge given unto them of the Lord their God;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>20</span> 是的，這民族向來蒙主大恩，向來比各國、各族、各方、各民還要蒙受恩惠；過去、現在、未來一切的事，都已按照他們的願望、他們的信心和祈禱，讓他們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/20a 知道]；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>20</span> Yea, after having been such a highly favored people of the Lord; yea, after having been favored above every other <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng nation], kindred, tongue, or people; after having had all things <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng made]known unto them, according to their desires, and their faith, and prayers, of that which has been, and which is, and which is to come;</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>21</span> 他們蒙神的靈眷顧；與眾天使交談；聽到主的聲音對他們講話；擁有預言之靈和啟示之靈，又擁有許多恩賜：說方言的恩賜、傳教的恩賜、聖靈的恩賜、<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/21a 翻譯]的恩賜；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>21</span> Having been <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng visited] by the Spirit of God; having conversed with angels, and having been spoken unto by the voice of the Lord; and having the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and also many gifts, the gift of speaking with tongues, and the gift of preaching, and the gift of the Holy Ghost, and the gift of <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng translation];</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>22</span> 是的，他們由主的手，被神從耶路撒冷地<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/22a 救出]來，救他們脫離飢荒、病痛和各式各樣的疾病；他們在戰鬥中變得強壯而不致被毀滅；一再從<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/22b 束縛]中被帶出來，到現在一直都蒙得保全和保護；他們昌盛富裕，擁有各種東西。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>22</span> Yea, and after having been <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng delivered] of God out of the land of Jerusalem, by the hand of the Lord; having been <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng saved] from famine, and from sickness, and all manner of diseases of every kind; and they having waxed strong in battle, that they might not be destroyed; having been brought out of <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng bondage] time after time, and having been kept and preserved until now; and they have been prospered until they are rich in all manner of things—</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>23</span> 現在看啊，我告訴你們，如果這民族從主手中獲得這麼多祝福後，還違背他們所擁有的光和知識而犯罪，我告訴你們，如果真是這樣，如果他們陷入罪中，那麼拉曼人的景況一定比他們<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/23a 好]受得多。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>23</span> And now behold I say unto you, that if this people, who have received so many blessings from the hand of the Lord, should transgress <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng contrary] to the light and knowledge which they do have, I say unto you that if this be the case, that if they should fall into transgression, it would be far more <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng tolerable] for the Lamanites than for them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>24</span> 因為看啊，主的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/24a 應許]已給了拉曼人；如果你們犯罪，那應許就不是你們的，因為主不是明白地應許並堅決地宣告過，你們如果背叛祂，就必從地面上徹底毀滅嗎？</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>24</span> For behold, the <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng promises] of the Lord are extended to the Lamanites, but they are not unto you if ye transgress; for has not the Lord expressly promised and firmly decreed, that if ye will rebel against him that ye shall <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng utterly] be destroyed from off the face of the earth?</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>25</span> 如今，主為了使你們不被毀滅，已派遣祂的天使，造訪祂許多人民，告訴他們，他們必須去向這人民大聲疾呼說：天國臨近了，你們要<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/25a 悔改]；</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>25</span> And now for this cause, that ye may not be destroyed, the Lord has sent his angel to visit many of his people, declaring unto them that they must go forth and cry mightily unto this people, saying: <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng Repent] ye, for the kingdom of heaven is nigh at hand;</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>26</span> And <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng not] many days hence the Son of God shall come in his<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng glory]; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng grace], equity, and truth, full of patience, <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng mercy], and long-suffering, quick to <sup class='englishSup'>e</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng hear] the cries of his people and to answer their prayers.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>27</span> 看啊，祂要來<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/27a 救贖]那經由對祂名的信心，接受悔改的<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/alma/9/27b 洗禮]的人。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>27</span> And behold, he cometh to <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng redeem] those who will be<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng baptized] unto repentance, through faith on his name.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>28</span> Therefore, prepare ye the way of the Lord, for the time is at hand that all men shall reap a <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng reward] of their <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng works], according to that which they have been—if they have been righteous they shall <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng reap] the salvation of their souls, according to the power and deliverance of Jesus Christ; and if they have been evil they shall reap the <sup class='englishSup'>d</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng damnation] of their souls, according to the power and captivation of the devil.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>29</span> Now behold, this is the voice of the angel, crying unto the people.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>30</span> And now, my <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng beloved] brethren, for ye are my brethren, and ye ought to be beloved, and ye ought to bring forth works which are meet for repentance, seeing that your hearts have been grossly hardened against the word of God, and seeing that ye are a <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/alma/9?lang=eng lost] and a fallen people.</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>32</span> 也因為我說他們是迷失而墮落的民族，他們就惱怒我，想動手把我抓起來，關進監牢。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>32</span> And also because I said unto them that they were a lost and a fallen people they were angry with me, and sought to lay their hands upon me, that they might cast me into prison.</p>
