In recording this revelation, the Prophet affirmed that “the … Lord is ever ready to instruct such as diligently seek in faith” (History of the Church,1:126).</p>

<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>11</span> 是的，悔改，並且<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/33/11a 受洗]；為了你們每個人的罪的赦免；是的，受水的洗禮，然後受火和聖靈的洗禮。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>11</span> Yea, <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng repent] and be baptized, every one of you, for a<sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng remission] of your sins; yea, be baptized even by water, and then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost.</p>

<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>13</span> And upon this <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng rock] I will build my church; yea, upon this rock ye are built, and if ye continue, the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng gates] of hell shall not prevail against you.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>14</span> 你們要記住並遵守教會的<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/33/14a 規章]和聖約。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>14</span> And ye shall remember the church <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng articles] and covenants to keep them.</p>
<p class='chinese'><span class='chineseVerse'>15</span> 凡有信心的，你們要在我教會中，藉<sup class='chineseSup'>ａ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/33/15a 按手禮]<sup class='chineseSup'>ｂ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/33/15b 證實]，我要授予他們<sup class='chineseSup'>ｃ</sup>[http://scriptures.lds.org/zh/dc/33/15c 聖靈]的恩賜。</p>
<p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>15</span> And whoso having faith you shall <sup class='englishSup'>a</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng confirm] in my church, by the laying on of the <sup class='englishSup'>b</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng hands], and I will bestow the <sup class='englishSup'>c</sup>[http://www.lds.org/scriptures/dc-testament/dc/33?lang=eng gift] of the Holy Ghost upon them.</p>
