<div class='headline'>October 28–November 3</div> <div class='headline'>10月28日-11月3日</div> <div class='section'>1 and 2 Timothy; Titus; Philemon</div> <div class='section'>提摩太前後書;提多書;腓利門書</div> <div class='section'>“Be Thou an Example of the Believers”</div> <div class='section'>「作信徒的榜樣」</div> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>1</span>Sometimes it’s helpful to approach your scripture study with one or more questions in mind.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>2</span>Invite the Spirit to guide you to answers as you study, and record any inspiration you receive.</p> <div class='section'>RECORD YOUR IMPRESSIONS</div> <div class='section'>記錄心得感想</div> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>3</span>In the epistles Paul wrote to Timothy, Titus, and Philemon, we get a glimpse into the heart of a servant of the Lord.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>4</span>Unlike Paul’s other epistles to entire congregations, these were written to individuals—Paul’s close friends and associates in God’s work—and reading them is like listening in on a conversation.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>5</span>We see Paul encouraging Timothy and Titus, two leaders of congregations, in their Church service.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>6</span>We see him entreating his friend Philemon to forgive a fellow Saint and treat him like a brother in the gospel.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>7</span>Paul’s words were not addressed to us directly, and he may never have expected that so many people would one day read them.</p> <p class='english'><span class='englishVerse'>8</span>Yet we find in these epistles counsel and encouragement for us, whatever our personal ministry in the service of Christ might be.</p> <div class='section'>Ideas for Personal Scripture Study</div> <div class='section'>個人經文研讀的建議</div> <div class='section'>1 and 2 Timothy;
