Chapter 26：The People of Ammon

英文影片	The sons of Mosiah taught the gospel to the Lamanites. Thousands of Lamanites repented and joined the Church. Those Lamanites who joined the Church called themselves Anti-Nephi-Lehies, or the people of Ammon. They were good, hardworking people. The Lamanites who did not repent were angry with the people of Ammon and prepared to fight them. The people of Ammon knew that the wicked Lamanites would come to kill them but decided not to fight back. They had repented of killing. They buried their weapons deep in the ground and promised God they would never kill again. When the wicked Lamanites came and began killing them, they bowed to the ground and prayed. Seeing that the people of Ammon would not fight back, many of the wicked Lamanites stopped killing them. The Lamanites were sorry that they had killed. They threw down their weapons and joined the people of Ammon. They would not fight anymore. More Lamanites came to kill the people of Ammon. They still would not fight back, and many were killed. Not wanting the people he loved to be destroyed, Ammon prayed for help. The Lord told him to take his people and leave the land. The Nephites in Zarahemla gave Ammon and his people the land of Jershon and protected them. They became friends.

第 1 格
	The sons of Mosiah taught the gospel to the Lamanites.

第 2 格
	Those Lamanites who joined the Church called themselves Anti-Nephi-Lehies, or the people of Ammon.

	他們是一群正義且刻苦耐勞的人。

第 3 格
	The Lamanites who did not repent were angry with the people of Ammon and prepared to fight them.
	那些沒有悔改的拉曼人很氣艾蒙人，準備攻打他們。

第 4 格
	The people of Ammon knew that the wicked Lamanites would come to kill them but decided not to fight back.
	艾蒙人雖然知道邪惡的拉曼人要來殺他們，但仍舊決定不反擊，
	They had repented of killing.
	因為他們已經悔改不再殺人了。

第 5 格
	They buried their weapons deep in the ground and promised God they would never kill again.
	他們把武器深深埋在地底下，向神承諾永遠不再殺人。

第 6 格
	When the wicked Lamanites came and began killing them, they bowed to the ground and prayed.
	當邪惡的拉曼人來殺他們時，他們全都跪在地上禱告。

第 7 格
	Seeing that the people of Ammon would not fight back, many of the wicked Lamanites stopped killing them.
	看見艾蒙人不反擊，很多邪惡的拉曼人都停下來，不再殺他們了。

第 8 格
	The Lamanites were sorry that they had killed.
	有的拉曼人後悔自己殺了人。
	They threw down their weapons and joined the people of Ammon.
	他們丟下了武器，加入艾蒙人；
	They would not fight anymore.
	他們再也不打仗了。

第 9 格
	More Lamanites came to kill the people of Ammon.
	這時，更多的拉曼人來殺艾蒙人。
	They still would not fight back, and many were killed.
	他們仍然不反擊，許多人因而被殺死了。

第 10 格
	Not wanting the people he loved to be destroyed, Ammon prayed for help.
	艾蒙不希望他所愛的人民被毀滅，於是祈禱尋求幫助。
	The Lord told him to take his people and leave the land.
	主告訴他帶領人民離開那個地方。

第 11 格
	The Nephites in Zarahemla gave Ammon and his people the land of Jershon and protected them.
	柴雷罕拉地的尼腓人將裘勛地給了艾蒙人，並且保護他們；
	They became friends.
	他們變成了朋友。
