世人要獲得救恩就必須悔改、遵守誡命、重生、藉基督的血滌淨自己的衣服、謙卑、除去驕傲和嫉妒、做正義的事──好牧人呼喚祂的人民──凡做惡事的是魔鬼的兒女──阿爾瑪見證其教義之真實並命令世人悔改──義人的名字會登記在生命冊。約主前八三年。
To gain salvation, men must repent and keep the commandments, be born again, cleanse their garments through the blood of Christ, be humble and strip themselves of pride and envy, and do the works of righteousness—The Good Shepherd calls his people—Those who do evil works are children of the devil—Alma testifies of the truth of his doctrine and commands men to repent—The names of the righteous will be written in the book of life. About 83 B.C.
1 事情是這樣的，阿爾瑪開始向人民ａ傳講ｂ神的話，首先在柴雷罕拉地，然後從那裡遍及全境。
1 Now it came to pass that Alma began to adeliver the word ofbGod unto the people, first in the land of Zarahemla, and from thence throughout all the land.

2 And these are the words which he spake to the people in the church which was established in the city of Zarahemla, according to his own record, saying:

3 I, Alma, having been aconsecrated by my father, Alma, to be abhigh priest over the church of God, he having power andcauthority from God to do these things, behold, I say unto you that he began to establish a church in the dland which was in the borders of Nephi; yea, the land which was called the land of Mormon; yea, and he did baptize his brethren in the waters of Mormon.
4 看啊，我告訴你們，神的慈悲和大能將他們從挪亞王人民的手中ａ救出來。
4 And behold, I say unto you, they were adelivered out of the hands of the people of king Noah, by the mercy and power of God.
5 並且看啊，後來他們在曠野中受拉曼人ａ奴役；是的，我告訴你們，他們被囚禁，主又再度以祂話語的力量，救他們脫離ｂ束縛；然後，我們被帶到這塊土地，並開始在境內各地建立神的教會。
5 And behold, after that, they were brought into abondage by the hands of the Lamanites in the wilderness; yea, I say unto you, they were in captivity, and again the Lord did deliver them out ofbbondage by the power of his word; and we were brought into this land, and here we began to establish the church of God throughout this land also.
6 現在看啊，你們屬於這教會的弟兄們，我告訴你們，你們是否牢記著祖先受奴役的事？是的，你們是否牢記著主對他們的慈悲與恆久忍耐？此外，你們是否牢記著祂從地獄中救出他們的靈魂？
6 And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, you that belong to this church, have you sufficiently retained in aremembrancethe captivity of your fathers? Yea, and have you sufficiently retained in remembrance his mercy and long-suffering towards them? And moreover, have ye sufficiently retained in remembrance that he has bdelivered their souls from hell?
7 看啊，祂改變了他們的心；是的，祂把他們從沉睡中喚醒，使他們覺悟神的存在。看啊，他們原來身處黑暗，然而，神永恆話語的光照亮了他們的靈魂；是的，他們原來被ａ死亡的枷鎖和ｂ地獄的鎖鏈纏繞，永恆的毀滅等著他們。
7 Behold, he changed their hearts; yea, he awakened them out of a deep sleep, and they awoke unto God. Behold, they were in the midst of darkness; nevertheless, their souls were illuminated by the light of the everlasting word; yea, they were encircled about by the abands of death, and the bchains of hell, and an everlasting destruction did await them.
8 弟兄們，現在我問你們，他們被毀滅了嗎？看啊，我告訴你們，沒有，他們沒有被毀滅。
8 And now I ask of you, my brethren, were they destroyed? Behold, I say unto you, Nay, they were not.
9 我再問你們，那死亡的枷鎖斷了嗎？那纏繞他們的地獄的鎖鏈解開了嗎？我告訴你們，是的，那些都解開了，他們的靈魂伸展了，他們唱著救贖之愛。我告訴你們，他們得救了。
9 And again I ask, were the bands of death broken, and theachains of hell which encircled them about, were they loosed? I say unto you, Yea, they were loosed, and their souls did expand, and they did bsing redeeming love. And I say unto you that they are saved.
10 現在我問你們，他們是在什麼條件下ａ得救的？是的，他們憑什麼理由希望獲得救恩？他們為什麼能解脫死亡的枷鎖，是的，還有地獄的鎖鏈？
10 And now I ask of you on what conditions are they asaved? Yea, what grounds had they to hope for salvation? What is the cause of their being loosed from the bands of death, yea, and also the chains of hell?
11 看啊，我可以告訴你們，我父親阿爾瑪不是相信ａ阿賓納代口中傳講的話嗎？他不是神聖先知嗎？他不是說過神的話，而我父親阿爾瑪相信那些話嗎？
11 Behold, I can tell you—did not my father Alma believe in the words which were delivered by the amouth of Abinadi? And was he not a holy prophet? Did he not speak the words of God, and my father Alma believe them?
12 由於他的信心，他的心起了巨大的ａ變化，看啊，我告訴你們，這一切都是真實的。
12 And according to his faith there was a mighty achangewrought in his heart. Behold I say unto you that this is all true.
13 看啊，他向你們的祖先ａ宣講神的話，他們的心也起了巨大的變化；他們謙抑自己，ｂ信賴真實而ｃ活著的神。看啊，他們一直忠信到ｄ底；因此他們得救了。
13 And behold, he apreached the word unto your fathers, and a mighty change was also wrought in their hearts, and they humbled themselves and put their btrust in the true and clivingGod. And behold, they were faithful until the dend; therefore they were saved.
14 現在看啊，教會中的弟兄們，我問你們，你們在屬靈方面是否已ａ從神而生？你們在容貌上是否蒙得了祂的形像？你們的心是否體驗過這種巨大的ｂ改變？
14 And now behold, I ask of you, my brethren of the church, have ye aspiritually been bborn of God? Have ye received his image in your countenances? Have ye experienced this mighty cchange in your hearts?
15 你們對ａ創造你們的主的救贖運用了信心嗎？你們是否用信心之眼來期待，看到這必死的身體復活為不死，腐朽的ｂ復活為不朽，站在神的面前，按照必死之身的所作所為接受ｃ審判？
15 Do ye exercise faith in the redemption of him who acreatedyou? Do you look forward with an eye of faith, and view this mortal body raised in immortality, and this corruption braised in incorruption, to stand before God to be cjudged according to the deeds which have been done in the mortal body?
16 我告訴你們，你們能否想像自己在那天，聽到主的聲音對你們說：你們這些ａ蒙福的人，到我這裡來，因為看啊，你們在地面上做的是正義的事？
16 I say unto you, can you imagine to yourselves that ye hear the voice of the Lord, saying unto you, in that day: Come unto me yeablessed, for behold, your works have been the works of righteousness upon the face of the earth?
17 或者，你們以為自己能在那天向主撒謊ａ說：主啊，我們在地面上做的都是正義的事──而祂就會拯救你們嗎？
17 Or do ye aimagine to yourselves that ye can lie unto the Lord in that day, and bsay—Lord, our works have been righteous works upon the face of the earth—and that he will save you?
18 或者，你們能否想像將來被帶到神的審判席前，你們的靈魂充滿罪惡與悔恨，記得你們一切的罪惡，是的，清楚ａ記得你們一切的邪惡，是的，記得你們曾公然反抗神誡命的情形？
18 Or otherwise, can ye imagine yourselves brought before the tribunal of God with your souls filled with guilt and remorse, having a remembrance of all your guilt, yea, a perfectaremembrance of all your wickedness, yea, a remembrance that ye have set at defiance the commandments of God?
19 我告訴你們，到那天，你們能手潔心清地仰望神嗎？我告訴你們，你們能在仰望神時，已在自己的容貌上刻上ａ神的形像嗎？
19 I say unto you, can ye look up to God at that day with a pure heart and clean hands? I say unto you, can you look up, having the aimage of God engraven upon your countenances?
20 我告訴你們，你們若自甘作魔鬼的ａ屬民，你們還能得救嗎？
20 I say unto you, can ye think of being saved when you have yielded yourselves to become asubjects to the devil?
21 我告訴你們，到那天，你們必知道自己不能ａ得救；因為除了已把ｂ衣服洗得潔白的人，沒有人能得救；是的，衣服上所有的污點都得靠我們祖先所說的，要來救贖祂人民脫離罪惡的那位的血來ｃ洗滌，直到潔淨為止。
21 I say unto you, ye will know at that day that ye cannot beasaved; for there can no man be saved except his bgarments are washed white; yea, his garments must be cpurified until they are cleansed from all stain, through the blood of him of whom it has been spoken by our fathers, who should come to redeem his people from their sins.
22 弟兄們，現在我問你們，將來你們站在神的審判欄前，衣服上若沾著ａ血跡和種種ｂ污穢，你們會有什麼感覺？看啊，這些將證明你們什麼？
22 And now I ask of you, my brethren, how will any of you feel, if ye shall stand before the bar of God, having your garments stained with ablood and all manner of bfilthiness? Behold, what will these things testify against you?
23 看啊，這豈不ａ證明你們是兇手嗎？是的，不也證明你們犯了種種邪惡的罪行嗎？
23 Behold will they not atestify that ye are murderers, yea, and also that ye are bguilty of all manner of wickedness?
24 看啊，弟兄們，你們以為這樣的人在神國中會有一席之地，可與那衣服洗得純淨潔白而毫無污點的ａ亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各及所有聖先知一同坐席嗎？
24 Behold, my brethren, do ye suppose that such an one can have a place to sit down in the kingdom of God, with aAbraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob, and also all the holy prophets, whose garments are cleansed and are spotless, pure and white?
25 我告訴你們，不會的；除非你們當我們的創造主從一開始就是個騙子，或者認為祂從一開始就是個騙子，否則你們不會以為這樣的人在天國中有一席之地；這樣的人必被驅逐出去，因為他們是魔鬼國度的ａ兒女。
25 I say unto you, Nay; except ye make our Creator a liar from the beginning, or suppose that he is a liar from the beginning, ye cannot suppose that such can have place in the kingdom of heaven; but they shall be cast out for they are the achildren of the kingdom of the devil.
26 現在看啊，我告訴你們，我的弟兄們，如果你們體驗過心的ａ變化，如果你們曾覺得要唱ｂ救贖之愛的歌，我要問，你們現在ｃ還能有這種感覺嗎？
26 And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have experienced a achange of heart, and if ye have felt to sing thebsong of redeeming love, I would ask, ccan ye feel so now?
27 你們已一直ａ無可指摘地行走在神前了嗎？如果你們此時蒙召死去，你們捫心自問，自己已夠ｂ謙卑了嗎？你們的衣服已經藉著那要來ｃ救贖祂人民脫離罪惡的基督的血洗淨潔白了嗎？
27 Have ye walked, keeping yourselves ablameless before God? Could ye say, if ye were called to die at this time, within yourselves, that ye have been sufficiently bhumble? That your garments have been ccleansed and made white through the blood of Christ, who will come to dredeem his people from their sins?
28 看啊，你們除去ａ驕傲了嗎？我告訴你們，如果沒有，你們就還沒有準備好迎見神。看啊，你們一定要趕快準備好，因為天國近了，這樣的人不會有永生。
28 Behold, are ye stripped of apride? I say unto you, if ye are not ye are not prepared to meet God. Behold ye must prepare quickly; for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand, and such an one hath not eternal life.
29 看啊，你們當中有人還沒有除去ａ嫉妒嗎？我告訴你們，這樣的人沒有準備好；我希望他趕快準備好，因為時辰就近在眼前，他不知道時間什麼時候要到；這樣的人不會被判無罪。
29 Behold, I say, is there one among you who is not stripped ofaenvy? I say unto you that such an one is not prepared; and I would that he should prepare bquickly, for the hour is close at hand, and he knoweth not when the time shall come; for such an one is not found guiltless.
30 我再告訴你們，你們當中有人ａ嘲笑弟兄或將迫害加在他身上嗎？
30 And again I say unto you, is there one among you that doth make a amock of his brother, or that heapeth upon him persecutions?
31 這樣的人有禍了，因為他沒有準備好，而時候近了，他一定要悔改，否則無法得救！
31 Wo unto such an one, for he is not prepared, and the atime is at hand that he must repent or he cannot be saved!
32 是的，你們這些ａ作惡的人有禍了；悔改吧，悔改，因為主神已經說過了！
32 Yea, even wo unto all ye aworkers of iniquity; repent, repent, for the Lord God hath spoken it!
33 看啊，祂向ａ所有的人伸出ｂ慈悲的臂膀邀請他們，祂說：悔改，我必接納你們。
33 Behold, he sendeth an invitation unto aall men, for the barmsof mercy are extended towards them, and he saith: Repent, and I will receive you.
34 是的，祂說：ａ到我這裡來，你們就可以吃生命樹的ｂ果子；是的，你們可以ｃ自由地吃ｄ生命的糧，自由地喝生命的水；
34 Yea, he saith: aCome unto me and ye shall partake of thebfruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the cbreadand the waters of life dfreely;
35 是的，到我這裡來，做正義的事，你們就不會被砍下來丟在火裡──
35 Yea, come unto me and bring forth works of righteousness, and ye shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire—
36 因為看啊，時候近了，凡ａ不結好果、不做正義的事的，都有理由悲傷哀號。
36 For behold, the time is at hand that whosoever abringeth forth not good fruit, or whosoever doeth not the works of righteousness, the same have cause to wail and mourn.
37 作惡的人啊，你們因世上ａ無益的事物而張狂，自稱明白正道，卻又步入ｂ歧途，如同沒有牧人的ｃ羊一般，任憑牧人ｄ呼喚了，且仍在呼喚，卻總不ｅ聽從祂的聲音！
37 O ye workers of iniquity; ye that are apuffed up in the vain things of the world, ye that have professed to have known the ways of righteousness nevertheless have gone bastray, as csheephaving no dshepherd, notwithstanding a shepherd hath ecalledafter you and is still calling after you, but ye will not fhearkenunto his voice!
38 看啊，我告訴你們，那好ａ牧人的確在呼喚你們，是的，祂用自己的名字稱呼你們，那名字就是基督的名；你們若不ｂ聽從ｃ好牧人的聲音，不聽你們被稱呼的ｄ名字，看啊，你們就不是那好牧人的羊。
38 Behold, I say unto you, that the good ashepherd doth call you; yea, and in his own name he doth call you, which is the name of Christ; and if ye will not bhearken unto the voice of the cgoodshepherd, to the dname by which ye are called, behold, ye are not the sheep of the good shepherd.
39 如果你們不是那好牧人的羊，你們是哪個ａ羊圈裡的呢？看啊，我告訴你們，ｂ魔鬼是你們的牧羊人，你們是他羊圈裡的；如今，誰能否認這話呢？看啊，我告訴你們，凡否認這話的，就是ｃ說謊的人，就是ｄ魔鬼的孩子。
39 And now if ye are not the asheep of the good shepherd, of what fold are ye? Behold, I say unto you, that the bdevil is your shepherd, and ye are of his fold; and now, who can deny this? Behold, I say unto you, whosoever denieth this is a cliar and adchild of the devil.
40 我告訴你們，凡是ａ好的，都是來自神的，凡是邪惡的，都是來自魔鬼的。
40 For I say unto you that whatsoever is agood cometh from God, and whatsoever is bevil cometh from the devil.
41 因此，人若做ａ好事，就是聽從好牧人的聲音，並跟隨祂；然而，凡是做壞事的，都成了ｂ魔鬼的孩子，因為他聽魔鬼的聲音，並跟隨他。
41 Therefore, if a man bringeth forth agood works he hearkeneth unto the voice of the good shepherd, and he doth follow him; but whosoever bringeth forth evil works, the same becometh a bchildof the devil, for he hearkeneth unto his voice, and doth follow him.
42 凡這麼做的，必向魔鬼領取他的ａ工資；因此，他領取ｂ死亡作為他的ｃ工資，與一切正義的事無份，就一切好事而言，他已經死了。
42 And whosoever doeth this must receive his awages of him; therefore, for his bwages he receiveth cdeath, as to things pertaining unto righteousness, being dead unto all good works.
43 弟兄們，希望你們聽我說，因為我用盡心力來講這些；看啊，我已經明白地告訴你們，使你們無法誤解，或者說，我已經按照神的命令告訴你們了。
43 And now, my brethren, I would that ye should hear me, for I speak in the aenergy of my soul; for behold, I have spoken unto you plainly that ye cannot err, or have spoken according to the commandments of God.
44 因為我是按照基督耶穌裡的神的ａ神聖體制，蒙召來這樣講話的；是的，我奉命站出來為祖先講過的即將要發生的事，向這人民作見證。
44 For I am called to speak after this manner, according to theaholy order of God, which is in Christ Jesus; yea, I am commanded to stand and testify unto this people the things which have been spoken by our fathers concerning the things which are to come.
45 還不止於此。難道你們不認為我ａ知道這些事情嗎？看啊，我向你們見證，我確實知道我講的這些事都是真的。你們認為我怎麼會知道這些事是真的呢？
45 And this is not all. Do ye not suppose that I aknow of these things myself? Behold, I testify unto you that I do know that these things whereof I have spoken are true. And how do ye suppose that I know of their surety?
46 看啊，我告訴你們，這些都是神的神聖之靈向我ａ顯明的。看啊，我ｂ禁食禱告了許多天以知道這些事。現在我確實知道這些事都是真的；因為主神藉著祂的神聖之靈向我顯明了這些事；就是在我裡面的ｃ啟示之靈。
46 Behold, I say unto you they are made aknown unto me by the Holy Spirit of God. Behold, I have bfasted and prayed many days that I might know these things of myself. And now I do know of myself that they are true; for the Lord God hath made them manifest unto me by his Holy Spirit; and this is the spirit ofcrevelation which is in me.
47 此外，我告訴你們，那已這樣向我啟示，祖先們所講的話都是真的，那正是按照在我裡面的預言之靈，也是藉著神的靈的顯示。
47 And moreover, I say unto you that it has thus been revealed unto me, that the words which have been spoken by our fathers are true, even so according to the spirit of prophecy which is in me, which is also by the manifestation of the Spirit of God.
48 我告訴你們，我知道我要告訴你們的一切將發生的事都是真的；我告訴你們，我知道耶穌基督，是的，就是那位子，父的獨生子，必將來臨，祂充滿恩典、慈悲、真理。看啊，就是祂要來除去世人的罪，是的，要除去每個堅信祂名的人的罪。
48 I say unto you, that I know of myself that whatsoever I shall say unto you, concerning that which is to come, is true; and I say unto you, that I know that Jesus Christ shall come, yea, the Son, the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, and mercy, and truth. And behold, it is he that cometh to take away the sins of the world, yea, the sins of every man who steadfastly believeth on his name.
49 我告訴你們，我就是依照這ａ體制蒙召的，是的，來向我心愛的弟兄們，是的，向住在這地的每一個人宣講的；是的，要向大家宣講，不論老的少的，不論為奴或自主的；是的，我告訴你們這些老年人、中年人以及新興的一代；是的，向他們大聲疾呼，他們必須悔改和ｂ重生。
49 And now I say unto you that this is the aorder after which I am called, yea, to preach unto my beloved brethren, yea, and every one that dwelleth in the land; yea, to preach unto all, both old and young, both bond and free; yea, I say unto you the aged, and also the middle aged, and the rising generation; yea, to cry unto them that they must repent and be bborn again.
50 是的，靈這樣說：大地各端的人啊，悔改吧！天國近了，是的，神的兒子就要帶著祂的ａ榮耀、大能、威嚴、權力以及統治來臨。是的，我心愛的弟兄們，我告訴你們，靈說：看那ｂ全地之王的榮耀；天上之王很快就要光照所有的人類兒女了。
50 Yea, thus saith the Spirit: Repent, all ye ends of the earth, for the kingdom of heaven is soon at hand; yea, the Son of God cometh in his aglory, in his might, majesty, power, and dominion. Yea, my beloved brethren, I say unto you, that the Spirit saith: Behold the glory of the bKing of all the earth; and also the King of heaven shall very soon shine forth among all the children of men.
51 靈又對我說，是的，以極其有力的聲音對我呼喊說：去對這人民說──悔改吧！你們若不悔改，就絕不能承受ａ天國。
51 And also the Spirit saith unto me, yea, crieth unto me with a mighty voice, saying: Go forth and say unto this people—Repent, for except ye repent ye can in nowise inherit the akingdom ofbheaven.
52 我再告訴你們，靈說：看，ａ斧頭已經放在樹根上；所以，凡不結好果子的樹，就要被ｂ砍下來，丟在火裡，是的，丟在那燒不完撲不滅的火裡。看啊，記住，那位聖者已經說過。
52 And again I say unto you, the Spirit saith: Behold, the aax is laid at the root of the tree; therefore every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit shall be bhewn down and cast into the fire, yea, a fire which cannot be consumed, even an unquenchable fire. Behold, and remember, the Holy One hath spoken it.
53 現在，我心愛的弟兄們，我告訴你們，你們能反抗這些話嗎？是的，你們能把這些事擱在一邊，而將那位聖者放在腳下ａ踐踏嗎？是的，你們能內心ｂ驕傲而張狂嗎？是的，你們還執意要穿ｃ昂貴的衣服，把心思放在世俗無益的事物和你們的ｄ財富上嗎？
53 And now my beloved brethren, I say unto you, can ye withstand these sayings; yea, can ye lay aside these things, andatrample the Holy One under your feet; yea, can ye be bpuffed up in the pride of your hearts; yea, will ye still persist in the wearing of ccostly apparel and setting your hearts upon the vain things of the world, upon your driches?
54 是的，你們還堅持認為自己比別人好嗎？是的，你們還要繼續迫害你們的弟兄嗎？他們謙抑自己，按照他們被帶進這教會的神的神聖體制行事，為神聖之靈所ａ聖化，結出與悔改相稱的行為。
54 Yea, will ye persist in supposing that ye are better one than another; yea, will ye persist in the persecution of your brethren, who humble themselves and do walk after the holy order of God, wherewith they have been brought into this church, having beenasanctified by the Holy Spirit, and they do bring forth works which are meet for repentance—
55 是的，你們還要一直不理ａ窮苦貧困的人，不把你們的財物分給他們嗎？
55 Yea, and will you persist in turning your backs upon theapoor, and the needy, and in withholding your substance from them?
56 最後，你們這些堅持作惡的人啊，我告訴你們，這樣的人若不趕快悔改，就要被砍下來丟在火裡。
56 And finally, all ye that will persist in your wickedness, I say unto you that these are they who shall be hewn down and cast into the fire except they speedily repent.
57 我告訴你們，凡切望聽從ａ好牧人聲音的，要離開惡人，ｂ遠離他們，不要碰他們不潔的東西；看啊，他們的名字必被ｃ塗掉，使惡人的名字必不得與義人的名字同列，以應驗神的話；神說：惡人的名字不得與我人民的名字混在一起；
57 And now I say unto you, all you that are desirous to follow the voice of the agood shepherd, come ye out from the wicked, and be ye bseparate, and touch not their unclean things; and behold, their names shall be cblotted out, that the names of the wicked shall not be numbered among the names of the righteous, that the word of God may be fulfilled, which saith: The names of the wicked shall not be mingled with the names of my people;
58 因為義人的名字必登記在ａ生命冊上，我必將我右邊的產業賜給他。弟兄們，對於這一點，你們還有什麼話說？我告訴你們，就是你們說什麼反對的話，也沒有關係，因為神的話都必應驗。
58 For the names of the righteous shall be written in the abookof life, and unto them will I grant an inheritance at my right hand. And now, my brethren, what have ye to say against this? I say unto you, if ye speak against it, it matters not, for the word of God must be fulfilled.
59 你們這些有很多羊，卻不加以看顧，以防止野狼來吞食羊群的，算什麼牧羊人呢？看啊，若野狼進入他的羊群，他會不把他趕走嗎？一定會的，最後，如果他能，他一定會殺了他的。
59 For what shepherd is there among you having many sheep doth not watch over them, that the wolves enter not and devour his flock? And behold, if a wolf enter his aflock doth he not drive him out? Yea, and at the last, if he can, he will destroy him.
60 我告訴你們，好牧人就在呼喚你們；如果你們肯聽從祂的聲音，祂會帶你們進入祂的羊圈，你們就是祂的羊了；然後，祂命令你們，不要讓餓狼進入你們之中，免得你們被毀滅。
60 And now I say unto you that the good shepherd doth call after you; and if you will hearken unto his voice he will bring you into his fold, and ye are his sheep; and he commandeth you that ye suffer no ravenous wolf to enter among you, that ye may not be destroyed.
61 我阿爾瑪，用命令我的ａ那一位講的話命令你們，你們要遵行我對你們講的話。
61 And now I, Alma, do command you in the language of ahimwho hath commanded me, that ye observe to do the words which I have spoken unto you.
62 我用命令的方式向你們這些屬於教會的人講話，至於那些不屬於教會的人，我要用邀請的方式說：來，接受悔改的洗禮，這樣，你們也可以吃ａ生命樹上的果子。
62 I speak by way of command unto you that belong to the church; and unto those who do not belong to the church I speak by way of invitation, saying: Come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye also may be partakers of the fruit of the atreeof life.
