There Is a God
● 哪些事物向你證明有一位神？
• What are some things that testify to you that there is a God ?
摩爾門經中的一位先知阿爾瑪寫道：「萬物都說明了真的有神；是的，就是那大地、大地上的萬物，是的，還有大地之運轉，是的，以及所有按其既定方式運行的行星，都證明的確有一位至高無上的創造主」（阿爾瑪書30：44）。
Alma, a Book of Mormon prophet, wrote, “All things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator” (Alma 30:44).
我們若在夜晚仰望星空，就會明白阿爾瑪的意思。
We can look up at the sky at night and have an idea of what Alma meant.
數以百萬計的星辰和行星都按照完美的秩序運行。
There are millions of stars and planets, all in perfect order.
它們不是偶然出現的。
They did not get there by chance.

We can see the work of God in the heavens and on the earth.

The many beautiful plants, the many kinds of animals, the mountains, the rivers, the clouds that bring us rain and snow—all these testify to us that there is a God .

The prophets have taught us that God is the Almighty Ruler of the universe.

God dwells in heaven (see D&C 20:17).

Through His Son, Jesus Christ, He created the heavens and the earth and all things that are in them (see 3 Nephi 9:15; Moses 2:1).

He organized this world and gave it form, motion, and life.

He made man in His own image to be a ruler over His other creations (see Genesis 1:26–27) .

God is the Supreme and Absolute Being in whom we believe and whom we worship.

He is “the Great Parent of the universe,” and He “looks upon the whole of the human family with a fatherly care and paternal regard” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith [2007], 39) .

The Nature of God
● 神具有哪些特質？
• What are some of God’s attributes ?
我們是按照祂的形像造的（見摩西書2：26；6：9），所以我們知道，我們的身體就像祂的一樣。
Because we are made in His image (see Moses 2:26; 6:9), we know that our bodies are like His body.
祂永恆的靈體住在一個可觸摸的骨肉身體裡（見教約130：22）。
His eternal spirit is housed in a tangible body of flesh and bones (see D&C 130:22).
不過，神的身體是完美而榮耀的，其榮耀無法形容。
God’s body, however, is perfected and glorified, with a glory beyond all description .
神是完美的。
God is perfect.
祂是正義之神，具有愛、慈悲、仁愛、真理、能力、信心、知識和判斷力等特質。
He is a God of righteousness, with attributes such as love, mercy, charity, truth, power, faith, knowledge, and judgment .

He has all power. He knows all things

He is full of goodness .
所有好的事物都是從神來的。
All good things come from God.
祂所做的每一件事，都是為了幫助祂的兒女變得像祂一樣。
Everything that He does is to help His children become like Him.
祂說過：「看啊，這就是我的事工和我的榮耀──促成人的不死和永生」（摩西書1：39）。
He has said, “Behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man” (Moses 1:39) .

來認識神
Coming to Know God
● 我們要如何認識神？
• How can we come to know God ?
認識神是一件很重要的事，因此救主說：「認識您──獨一的真神，並且認識您所差來的耶穌基督，這就是永生」（約翰福音17：3）。
Knowing God is so important that the Savior said, “This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent” ( John 17:3) .
第一且最大的誡命是：「你要盡心……愛主──你的神」（馬太福音22：37）。
The first and greatest commandment is “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart” (Matthew 22:37) .
我們越認識神，就會越愛祂，也越能遵守祂的誡命（見約翰一書2 ︰ 3-5）。
The more we know God, the more we love Him and keep His commandments (see 1 John 2:3–5).
遵守祂的誡命能讓我們變得像祂一樣。
By keeping His commandments we can become like Him .
只要我們願意做以下的事情，就能認識神：
We can know God if we will:
1.相信祂的存在，相信祂愛我們（見摩賽亞書4：9）。
1.Believe that He exists and that He loves us (see Mosiah 4:9) .
2. 研讀經文（見提摩太後書3：14-17）。
2.Study the scriptures (see 2 Timothy 3:14–17) .

3.Pray to Him (see James 1:5) .

4.Obey all His commandments as best we can (see John 14:21–23) .

As we do these things, we will come to know God and eventually have eternal life .
