● 第二次來臨的徵兆有哪些？

• What are some of the signs of the Second Coming ?

救主告訴約瑟．斯密：「我要以能力和極大榮耀，……自天上顯現，在正義中與人同住世上一千年，那時惡人必站立不住」（教約29：11；亦見本書第44 及45 章）。

The Savior told Joseph Smith, “I will reveal myself from heaven with power and great glory .

... and dwell in righteousness with men on earth a thousand years, and the wicked shall not stand” (D&C 29:11; see also chapters 44 and 45 in this book).

耶穌告訴我們，有些徵兆和事件會警告我們祂的第二次來臨已經近了。

Jesus has told us that certain signs and events will warn us when the time of His Second Coming is near .

幾千年來，耶穌基督的信徒一直都在期待第二次來臨是一段和平喜悅的日子。

For thousands of years, followers of Jesus Christ have looked forward to the Second Coming as a time of peace and joy.

但是在救主來臨前，世人將經歷艱鉅的考驗和災難。

But before the Savior comes, the people of the earth will experience great trials and calamities.

天父要我們為這些困境作好準備。

Our Heavenly Father wants us to be prepared for these troubles.

祂也希望救主在榮耀中來臨時，我們都已經在靈性上準備妥當。

He also expects us to be spiritually ready when the Savior comes in His glory.

因此，祂給我們徵兆，也就是會讓我們知道救主第二次來臨的日子已近的一些事件。

Therefore, He has given us signs, which are events that will tell us when the Savior’s Second Coming is near.

從古至今，神都向祂的眾先知透露這些徵兆。

Throughout the ages God has revealed these signs to His prophets.

祂說，基督所有的忠信門徒都會知道是哪些徵兆，而且會注意那些徵兆（見教約45：39）。

He has said that all faithful followers of Christ will know what the signs are and will be watching for them (see D&C 45:39).

如果我們服從且忠信，就會研讀經文，知道有哪些徵兆。

If we are obedient and faithful, we will study the scriptures and know of the signs .

預告耶穌基督第二次來臨的徵兆有些已經應驗，有些正在應驗，有些則將在未來應驗。

Some of the signs foretelling the Second Coming of Jesus Christ have already been or are now being fulfilled.

Others will be fulfilled in the future .

邪惡、戰爭和混亂
Wickedness, War, and Turmoil

有很多徵兆是恐怖且可怕的。

Many of the signs are terrifying and dreadful.

眾先知已警告大地將經歷大混亂、邪惡、戰爭和苦難。

The prophets have warned that the earth will experience great turmoil, wickedness, war, and suffering.

先知但以理說，第二次來臨前將有大艱難，是大地上從來沒有過的（見但以理書12：1）。

The prophet Daniel said that the time before the Second Coming would be a time of trouble such as the earth has never known (see Daniel 12:1).

主說：「人的愛心漸冷，罪惡日增」（教約45：27）。

The Lord said, “The love of men shall wax cold, and iniquity shall abound” (D&C 45:27).

「萬物將處於騷動中；……恐懼將臨到所有的人民」（教約88：91）。

“And all things shall be in commotion; and ... fear shall come upon all people” (D&C 88:91).

我們可以預期會有地震、疾病、飢荒、大風暴、閃電和雷鳴（見馬太福音24：7；教約88：90）。

We can expect earthquakes, disease, famines, great storms, lightnings, and thunder (see Matthew 24:7; D&C 88:90) .

大冰雹會毀壞地上的莊稼（見教約29：16）。

Hailstorms will destroy the crops of the earth (see D&C 29:16) .

耶穌告訴門徒說，戰爭將遍佈地面。

Jesus told His disciples that war would fill the earth: “Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars.

祂說：「你們也要聽見打仗和打仗的風聲，……民要攻打民，國要攻打國」（馬太福音24：6-7）。

... For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:6–7).

先知約瑟．斯密說：「不要沮喪，儘管這日子必定很快來到，戰爭、饑荒和瘟疫就要臨近了。

The Prophet Joseph Smith said: “Be not discouraged when we tell you of perilous times, for they must shortly come, for the sword, famine, and pestilence are approaching.

這地會有大毀滅，你們不要認為所有聖先知預言的一點一劃會廢去，還有許多預言等著要應驗」（總會會長的教訓：約瑟．斯密，第252 頁）。

There shall be great destructions upon the face of this land, for ye need not suppose that one jot or tittle of the prophecies of all the holy prophets shall fail, and there are many that remain to be fulfilled yet” (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith [2007], 252) .

許多徵兆都已經應驗。

Many of these signs are being fulfilled.

邪惡猖獗。

Wickedness is everywhere .

各國一直在打仗。

Nations are constantly at war.

地震和其他災難正在發生。

Earthquakes and other calamities are occurring.

許多人現在正遭受毀滅性的風暴、乾旱、飢餓和疾病。

Many people now suffer from devastating storms, drought, hunger, and diseases.

我們可以確信的是，這些災難在主來臨前會越來越嚴重。

We can be certain that these calamities will become more severe before the Lord comes .

不過，在第二次來臨之前所發生的事也不全是可怕的。

However, not all the events preceding the Second Coming are dreadful.

其中有很多會帶給世人喜悅。

Many of them bring joy to the world .

福音復興
The Restoration of the Gospel

主說：「將有一道光照亮坐在黑暗裡的人，那道光就是我圓滿的福音」（教約45：28）。

The Lord said, “Light shall break forth among them that sit in darkness, and it shall be the fulness of my gospel” (D&C 45:28) .

古代的眾先知預告福音會復興。

Prophets of old foretold the Restoration of the gospel.

使徒約翰看到福音將由一位天使復興（見啟示錄14：6-7）。

The Apostle John saw that the gospel would be restored by an angel (see Revelation 14:6–7).

為了應驗這項預言，天使摩羅乃和其他天上使者將耶穌基督的福音帶給約瑟．斯密。

In fulfillment of this prophecy, the angel Moroni and other heavenly visitors brought the gospel of Jesus Christ to Joseph Smith .

摩爾門經問世
The Coming Forth of the Book of Mormon

主告訴尼腓人另一個徵兆：摩爾門經會傳給他們的後代（見尼腓三書第21 章）。

The Lord told the Nephites of another sign: the Book of Mormon would come to their descendants (see 3 Nephi 21).

在舊約時代，先知以賽亞和以西結預見摩爾門經問世（見以賽亞書29：4-18；以西結書37：16-20）。

In Old Testament times the prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel foresaw the coming of the Book of Mormon (see Isaiah 29:4–18; Ezekiel 37:16–20).

這些預言現在都應驗了。

These prophecies are now being fulfilled.

摩爾門經已經問世，而且也被帶到全世界。

The Book of Mormon has been brought forth and is being taken to all the world .

向全世界宣講福音
The Gospel Preached to All the World

另一個末世的徵兆，就是「這天國的福音要傳遍天下，對萬民作見證」（馬太福音24：14；亦見約瑟．斯密──馬太，1：31）。

Another sign of the last days is that the “gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations” (Matthew 24:14; see also Joseph Smith—Matthew 1:31).

所有的人都將以自己的語言聽到圓滿的福音（見教約90：11）。

All people will hear the fulness of the gospel in their own language (see D&C 90:11) .

自從教會復興以來，傳教士就一直在傳播福音。

Ever since the Restoration of the Church, missionaries have preached the gospel.

這股傳道力量逐年增加，現在有成千上萬的傳教士在世上許多國家用許多語言在傳教。

The missionary effort has increased until now tens of thousands of missionaries preach in many countries of the world in many languages.

在第二次來臨前和千禧年間，主將提供方法把真理帶給所有國家。

Before the Second Coming and during the Millennium, the Lord will provide ways to bring the truth to all nations .

以來加的來臨
The Coming of Elijah

先知瑪拉基預言在救主第二次來臨前，會差先知以來加造訪世界。

The prophet Malachi prophesied that before the Savior’s Second Coming, the prophet Elijah would be sent to the earth.

以來加會復興印證的權力，使家人可以印證在一起。

Elijah would restore the sealing powers so families could be sealed together .

他也會激發人們去關心他們的祖先和後代。（見瑪拉基書4：5-6；教約第2 篇。）

He would also inspire people to be concerned about their ancestors and descendants. (See Malachi 4:5–6; D&C 2.)

先知以來加於1836 年4 月向約瑟．斯密顯現。

The prophet Elijah came to Joseph Smith in April 1836.

從那時起，世人對家譜和家庭歷史的興趣與日俱增。

Since that time, interest in genealogy and family history has grown.

我們也可以在聖殿中為活人和死者執行印證教儀。

We are also able to perform sealing ordinances in the temples for the living and the dead .

李海的後裔會成為一個偉大的民族
Lehi’s Descendants Will Become a Great People

主說，在祂快要來臨時，拉曼人會成為一個正義且受人尊敬的民族。

The Lord said that when His coming was near, the Lamanites would become a righteous and respected people.

祂說：「在主的大日子來臨前，……拉曼人將如玫瑰盛開」（教約49：24）。

He said, “Before the great day of the Lord shall come, ... the Lamanites shall blossom as the rose” (D&C 49:24).

李海有許多的後裔現在正獲得福音的祝福。

Great numbers of Lehi’s descendants are now receiving the blessings of the gospel .

建立新耶路撒冷
Building of the New Jerusalem

在耶穌基督即將來臨之際，忠信的聖徒會建造一座正義的城市，一座神的城市，稱為新耶路撒冷。

Near the time of the coming of Jesus Christ, the faithful Saints will build a righteous city, a city of God, called the New Jerusalem.

耶穌基督將親自在那裡統治。（見尼腓三書21：23-25；摩西書7：62-64；信條第10 條。）

Jesus Christ Himself will rule there. (See 3 Nephi 21:23–25; Moses 7:62–64; Articles of Faith 1:10.) .

主說，這城市將建在美國的密蘇里州（見教約84：2-3）。

The Lord said the city will be built in the state of Missouri in the United States (see D&C 84:2–3) .

這些只是主給我們的徵兆中的一小部分。

These are only a few of the signs that the Lord has given us.

The scriptures describe many more .

Knowing the Signs of the Times Can Help Us

● 知道有些徵兆既恐怖又可怕，我們要如何保持沉著和寧靜？

• How can we remain calm and at peace even when some of the signs are terrifying and dreadful ?

主談到祂的第二次來臨時，說：「那時辰、那日子，沒有人知道，天上的天使也不知道」（教約49：7）。

Speaking of His Second Coming, the Lord said, “The hour and the day no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven” (D&C 49:7).

祂用無花果的比喻來教導這件事。

He taught this with the parable of the fig tree.

祂說，我們看到無花果樹發嫩長葉的時候，就知道夏天近了。

He said that when we see a fig tree putting forth leaves, we can tell that summer will soon come.

同樣地，我們看到經文描寫的徵兆時，就要知道祂來臨的日子近了。（見馬太福音24：32-33。）

Likewise, when we see the signs described in the scriptures, we can know that His coming is near. (See Matthew 24:32–33.) .

主給我們這些徵兆是為了幫助我們。

The Lord gives these signs to help us.

我們可以整頓自己的生活，讓自己和家人準備好迎接那些將要發生的事情。

We can put our lives in order and prepare ourselves and our families for those things yet to come .

我們已經得到警告，也被告知要為那些災難作好準備，不過我們還是可以歡喜地期待救主的來臨。

We have been warned of calamities and told to prepare for them, but we can also look forward to the coming of the Savior and be glad.

主說：「不要驚慌，因為，等這一切發生時，你們就知道對你們作的那些應許都必應驗」（教約45：35）。

The Lord said, “Be not troubled, for, when all these things [the signs] shall come to pass, ye may know that the promises which have been made unto you shall be fulfilled” (D&C 45:35).

祂又說，正義的人在祂來臨時不會被毀滅，「卻將承受得住那日子。

He said those who are righteous when He comes will not be destroyed “but shall abide the day.

大地將被賜給他們作繼承產業；……他們的兒女將無罪成長……。

And the earth shall be given unto them for an inheritance; ... and their children shall grow up without sin. …

因為主將在他們中間，祂的榮耀將在他們身上，祂必作他們的王和立法者」（教約45：57-59）。

For the Lord shall be in their midst, and his glory shall be upon them, and he will be their king and their lawgiver” (D&C 45:57–59) .

給教師：可以指派每位班員或家人閱讀本章所談到的一、兩項徵兆（在大班級裡，有些徵兆可以不只指派給一個人）。

For teachers: Consider assigning each class member or family member one or two of the signs described in this chapter (in large classes, some signs may be assigned to more than one person).

As part of the lesson, give them time on their own to study the information about those signs and think about evidence they have seen that the signs are being fulfilled today.
